Fairy Tail: 100 Years Episode 3 Recap
Fairy Tail continues to deliver excitement in its latest episode. The story kicks off with a conversation between our heroes and the water dragon god, Mercphobia. Natsu boldly states that they won’t attack Mercphobia if he poses no threat to humans. Mercphobia, however, explains that he needs to be sealed for different reasons despite not being a threat. He invites Natsu and his crew to his temple to discuss further.
At the temple, they meet Karameel, a human saved by the water god long ago. She is hostile toward Natsu and the others due to their intentions to harm Mercphobia. The episode reveals why the water god is beloved and trusted: he is a kind lord who protects his subjects from harm.
Despite his benevolence now, Mercphobia must be stopped because he once mercilessly killed humans. His change of heart came after saving Karameel and forming a bond with her. Moreover, his original powers have been stolen by a figure known as the white mage. During this discussion, the group is attacked by the wizard guild Diabolos, led by Skullion. Like his followers, Skullion has become a dragon slayer by consuming dragons.

Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest Episode 4 Review And Recap
This episode starts from the point where Jelal confronts Touka about her identity as the white mage. She completely denies being one and continuously tells him that he is mistaking her for someone else. She clarifies that she is just someone who knows water magic but, when asked where her water magic comes from, she has nothing to answer. Just when she is about to be dragged, Laxus comes and saves her. Even after Jelal tells him that Touka can be dangerous, Laxus says whatever she is, she is now family, and hence she will be protected. On the other hand, Natsu, Wendy and Erza are being held captive on Diabolo’s ship.
We also see Lucy, Happy and Carla desperately searching for others while Lucy uses a boat to locate Diabolo’s ship. This is when, unexpectedly, we meet Brandish, who delivers a shrunken Gray in the hands of Lucy. From her, we get to know the current situation of the members of Spriggan 12, which has long disbanded.
They all have different lives and occupations now, and many of them are already dead. Thankfully, Brandish does not hold Fairy Tail as an enemy, and she understands that both sides have faced losses. She even reveals her intention of locating Aquarius’s key in front of Lucy and, in doing so, reveals its location on Guiltina.
After that, at night, Erza manages to escape the brainwash. Then she along with Natsu and Wendy, take on their captors. But things are far from over, as we also find Jelal facing his own troubles while understanding Touka’s identity. Even though the current Touka might seem like a sweet innocent girl, is she really someone who is incapable of hurting others or is she hiding her true self?
Verdict
Today’s episode was again pretty intense with no boring bits. The mystery of Touka has reached its peak, and you will understand the whole situation towards the end of the episode. I also loved that we got to see Brandish and were informed of what had happened to others in her team. It’s really great to see past enemies become new friends.
