Dynamite Kiss Episode 7 Recap

Dynamite Kiss episode 7 picks up with Seon-u dropping in to see Myeong-soon. The local ladies are quick to assume he is her prospective son-in-law and shower him with praise. Myeong-soon laughs it off, insisting he is only like a son to her. Meanwhile, Seon-u remains on edge, keeping a quiet but watchful eye on Da-rim at the hospital. He secures her a private room and insists she stay overnight for proper observation.

While adjusting the bed for her comfort, the two find themselves leaning closer than intended, nearly sharing a kiss. Before anything can happen, a nurse bursts in to check Da-rim’s blood pressure, which has shot up. To calm his own nerves, Ji-hyuk steps out to grab a drink, returning later to find Da-rim sleeping peacefully. He ends up staying the entire night by her side.

The next morning, Da-rim wakes to see Ji-hyuk fast asleep next to her bed, clearly exhausted from worrying about her. She reaches to touch his hand, then hesitates and pulls back, unsure of what she is feeling. Meanwhile, Ha-yeong’s brother Tae-young arrives back in Seoul and immediately proves to be every bit as entitled as his parents. He fires his driver for the simple crime of listening to their mother rather than him. Tae-young is usually abroad in the United States working on the family business and is freshly divorced, so his mother plans a flashy party to find him a new partner.

Ha-yeong, on the other hand, is working tirelessly to catch Seon-u’s attention. She cooks delicious food and visits his studio. Although he tries to keep his distance, Jun is clearly fond of her, which secretly pleases Seon-u as he watches them together.

Elsewhere, Chang-ho launches the NaturalBebe environmental project with the board of directors. He is charmed by MotherTF’s enthusiasm, while Ji-hyuk cannot help finding their antics amusing. At the tree planting event, Nan-sook brings along her little son Dae-song. Ji-hye, jealous of the MotherTF team success, orders Choong-gu to stay behind and gather evidence against Ji-hyuk and Da-rim. As expected, he completely fails, falling asleep under a tree.

The event turns out wonderfully. Da-rim names her tree after her father and opens up to Ji-hyuk about how much he influenced her life. The group have a lovely time playing with Dae-song and joking around together. Choong-gu misses all the potential scandal because he remains asleep.

Meanwhile, Tae-young visits Ji-hye’s dog shelter. It is revealed the two once dated, but he abandoned her to avoid being dragged into a scandal involving her paternity. Forced to attend his wedding even after the breakup, Ji-hye has hardened over the years and now wants power. She sends Tae-young away, determined to secure her place in the company.

Back at the park, the team finish up only to realise Dae-song has disappeared. Da-rim follows clues and spots his toy, but slips into a small ravine and passes out. The others find Dae-song who was chasing a squirrel. When Ji-hyuk learns Da-rim is missing, he rushes off and finds her unconscious. Rain begins to pour, forcing them to shelter in a cave while waiting for rescue. Ji-hyuk develops a fever and Da-rim panics, blaming herself. He admits he is easily swayed by her, revealing he remembers her earlier drunken confession. Their lips almost meet just as Seon-u arrives with a torch.

He grabs Da-rim protectively, but Ji-hyuk pulls her back to his side for a moment, shocking Seon-u. When the rescue team arrives, Ji-hyuk finally lets go. On the way home, Seon-u asks Da-rim to resign for her own safety while hinting at jealousy. She defends Ji-hyuk and refuses financial help. Ji-hyuk, still feverish, is haunted by his feelings and a nightmare about his father.

The next day, Da-rim brings him food and a small gift, hoping to thank him, but he coldly pushes her away. Hurt, she leaves without another word. Moments later, Ji-hyuk attends a family meal and suddenly declares he wants to marry soon, leaving everyone stunned.

The drama also broadens its rivalry and family dynamics. Tae-young’s entrance brings a fresh layer of conflict, while Seon-u’s growing jealousy hints at a looming love triangle. Meanwhile, Ji-hye’s ambition becomes more evident, showing that the corporate tension is only getting thicker. Each character is evolving in a way that promises deeper drama.

Overall, this episode balances emotional vulnerability with exciting plot movement. It delivers humour through the MotherTF team, suspense through the rescue mission, and plenty of romantic angst. With Ji-hyuk’s shocking announcement at the end, the series sets the stage for chaos and heartbreak in the coming episodes.
