Dynamite Kiss Episode 10 Recap
Episode 10 picks up right where the previous cliffhanger left us, right after that impulsive kiss. Da-rim, overwhelmed and determined to escape the haze of confusion, turns to leave. But Ji-hyeok catches her wrist, pulls her back, and leans in as if to kiss her once more. Startled, she shoves him away and lashes out, accusing him of treating her lightly now that he knows the truth about her past. Her voice trembles with anger and humiliation as she demands whether he thinks she’s easy prey.
Ji-hyeok’s response is immediate and heartfelt: he confesses he likes her and insists his feelings aren’t born out of pity or curiosity. But Da-rim refuses to accept it. She brings up his engagement to Ha-yeong, after all, she saw them kissing. Before he can explain himself, she cuts him off and walks away, leaving him standing there, helpless and frustrated.

All night, the doubt gnaws at her. As far as she knows, his engagement is real and his confession is nothing but confusion stirred by the secret she shared. But the next morning, everything shifts. From outside Ji-hyeok’s office, she sees him talking with a teammate in what appears, from a distance, to be a close and personal conversation. That moment makes her rethink everything she assumed about the “kiss” she witnessed between him and Ha-yeong. Perhaps she misunderstood. Perhaps Ji-hyeok’s feelings really are earnest.
Her suspicions settle further when Ji-hyeok approaches her later that morning and calmly explains why he likes her. He lists the qualities he admires in her, her leadership, her ability to motivate their team, her clear and confident communication, and the grit with which she handles life. The sincerity in his voice disarms her, leaving her flustered, shy, and completely unsure of how to respond.
Meanwhile, both mothers are discharged from the hospital, having spent enough time together to become unexpectedly close. Da-rim’s mother, always the practical one, urges Ji-hyeok’s mother to consult a lawyer regarding her shares in Natural Bebe, especially with divorce looming. Their newfound friendship leads to an amusing development, Ji-hyeok’s mother decides to temporarily move in with Da-rim’s mother so she won’t be alone while Da-rim works. This surprises both Da-rim and Ji-hyeok, who awkwardly try to process their mothers’ sudden alliance.

At home, Seon-u prepares a grand welcome dinner, unaware that Ji-hyeok and his mother will be joining. The evening quickly turns competitive as Seon-u and Ji-hyeok subtly try to outshine each other, each hoping to impress the mothers. Ji-hyeok’s mother, however, sees right through her son’s actions, she recognises he has feelings for Da-rim and secretly cheers him on.
Elsewhere, storm clouds gather. Ji-hyeok’s father decides it’s time to appoint him as vice-president of Natural Bebe, a move that terrifies his ambitious half-sister. Desperate to secure her position, she teams up with Ha-yeong’s elder brother, setting plans in motion to bring down both Ji-hyeok and their father.
The scheme strikes during Ha-yeong’s exhibition for Seon-u’s artwork, an event linked to the project Da-rim’s team is developing. While the exhibition goes smoothly, a hired arsonist slips into Ji-hyeok’s office. When Ji-hyeok steps in to clean his drink-soaked clothes, he catches the man in the act. A struggle breaks out; Ji-hyeok is struck on the head and collapses as the office is set ablaze.

When the fire alarm rings and everyone evacuates, Da-rim instantly realises he’s still inside. Without hesitation, she rushes in, fighting through smoke and flames to pull him out. Once outside, he regains consciousness just long enough to confess his love again—this time with absolute clarity. And Da-rim, no longer running away, seals his words with a kiss.
Dynamite Kiss Episode 10 Review
The episode opens by diving straight into the aftermath of the hasty kiss, with Da-rim’s anger and embarrassment clashing against Ji-hyeok’s earnest confession. The misunderstandings, her refusal to trust him, and his halting attempts to explain create a painful but compelling tug-of-war between them. Yet the storytelling smartly shifts when Da-rim quietly observes him the next morning, blurring her once-firm assumptions and forcing her to reconsider the sincerity she had pushed away. Ji-hyeok’s gentle explanation of why he likes her becomes one of the episode’s most heartfelt moments, grounding the romance in genuine admiration rather than dramatic impulse.
But Episode 10 truly shines when it expands beyond romance into danger and betrayal. The mothers’ unexpected friendship adds warmth and humour, contrasting sharply with the dark scheming happening inside the company. Ji-hyeok’s half-sister’s alliance with Ha-yeong’s brother brings the corporate feud to a breaking point, culminating in a shocking arson attack. The fire sequence is gripping, and Da-rim’s decision to run inside without hesitation cements her emotional investment far more powerfully than any confession could. When Ji-hyeok wakes and finally declares his lovefol, lowed by Da-rim sealing it with a kiss, the episode concludes with a satisfying, fiery climax that feels both earned and exhilarating.
