Two Much With Kajol and Twinkle Episode 4 Review

It’s another week and another episode of Two Much is here to titillate us with fun stories and anecdotes brought forth by our favourite stars. This week, the hosts speak to Govinda and Chunky Panday about their beginnings, their entry into the silver screen and what makes them tick.

Both actors in this episode are rather amusing and will leave you in splits. Although there isn’t a lot of “gossip” being brought out in this show from the very beginning, at least this episode is light-hearted enough to keep us engaged without getting into important topics that are not discussed afterwards.

Both the actors, especially Panday, are hilarious, and Panday’s humorous quips, his chemistry with Govinda, and his comic timing left me cackling from start to end. Again, there’s literally nothing discussed here that will come as a shock to you, but it’s the humour that kept me engaged. Moreover, the actors discuss their pasts and their family lives in some detail that will engage you as well.

I think it’s amusing to see both Khanna and Kajol laughing out loud in this episode because it feels genuine. Despite the scripting and all, I think you genuinely see the hosts have fun and laugh unbridled for once. The hosts do bring up some heavy topics that are again brushed under the rug, but the shift is so swift that it’s over before you can even catch yourself thinking about it. I am still a bit confused about why these topics are introduced if they won’t be discussed, but I think I have pushed them under the “lost cause” category at this point.

The best stories to come out of this episode are the ones discussing Govinda’s relationship with Panday and their shared history together. I, for one, didn’t know this fact about the two and was quite amused at how heartfelt their relationship felt. It’s like two neighbourhood uncles discussing how they got their jobs 20 years ago. Either way, this is one of the better episodes this season and didn’t infuriate me like the others.

Final Thoughts

Two Much With Kajol and Twinkle is an enjoyable watch that has all the right beats to make this a light-hearted entertainer. Although there is no new information to be enjoyed here, I think it’s the chemistry that the two guests share that leaves you in splits. Either way, a good watch.
