Moonlight Sunrise is here and suddenly all our days and nights are but signed off to TWICE’s name. Quite a few cheerful K-pop songs are known to have been masquerading a rather emotional outpour of the artists involved. The pattern continues to flourish ahead in the latest English track pre-release that came out on January 20, 2023, ahead of the March release of the JYPE girl-group’s album Our Youth.
This isn’t the first time group has come out with an English single, it’s rather their second single of the category after the 2021 release of their first full English single, The Feels. However, this particular track has been inspired by the experience of their last world tour date in L.A. Through this song, the girls hope to extend a reciprocative embrace to their fans, known as ONCEs, for their support throughout their career.
TWICE is a nine-member group including Nayeon, Momo, Tzuyu, Sana, Jeongyeon, Jihyo, Chaeyoung, Mina and Dahyun, who share the year 2015 as their collective debut under the same roof. The 3-minute long music video released today is just as much a musical delight as it’s a visual spectacle. It’s almost as if the girls transport us to a mystical, majestic location, that’s synonymous with the visualisation of a scene taken out of a fantasy book.
