The story delves into the lives of Byung-ho and Su-hyun, a couple grappling with the devastating loss of their daughter, Kyung Eun, in the Sewol ferry tragedy. Byung-ho, haunted by fading memories, struggles to piece together his past while Su-hyun, overwhelmed by grief, withdraws into herself, unable to confront the pain. Their eldest daughter, Chae Eun, harbours a silent fear of losing her father as well. As they each cope in their own way, burying their pain and memories, their family dynamic strains under the weight of unresolved grief.
