Now in its sixth week, it’s time for the I-LAND 2 Episode 6 preview. Known as 아이랜드2 in Korean, this reality competition series, officially titled I-LAND Season 2: N/A, features a diverse group of 24 contestants, including seasoned K-pop stars and aspiring idol trainees. Notable participants include Bang Jeemin from the survival show R U Next?; Choi Jungeun, who was on CAP-TEEN; Choi Soul; and Fuko, who gained fame on Girls Planet 999, among others.
Hosted by actor Song Kang, the survival reality show aims to transform top-tier contestants into a debut girl group. The highly anticipated I-LAND 2 audition series introduces a remarkable lineup of esteemed mentors who will guide aspiring participants toward their dreams. The distinguished panel of judges includes Producer Teddy Park, Taeyang from BIGBANG, VVN, 24, Monika Shin, Jeon Somi, and Lee Jung-lee.

Brief I LAND 2 Episode 5 Recap
Episode 5 begins with the judges discussing the results to determine the winner between the dance groups of I-Land and the Ground team. The episode starts with the Ground team’s performance, which was executed very well and in sync. They demonstrated significant improvement in their performance. During the results, it was declared that the Ground team succeeded in winning this round as well, resulting in three more I-Landers being sent to the Ground.
Following the results, it was time for the Creative Unit of both teams to showcase their performances. I-Land’s creative group performed first, delivering an outstanding performance on the song “Rain on Me.” Their performance was a ray of hope for the team, as they impressed both the other contestants and the judges, who cheered for them throughout. Next, the Ground’s creative team performed, delivering an equally impressive performance. However, it was announced that the I-Land team did slightly better, winning the round by just one point.
As the unit battle concluded, I-Land won one round while the Ground team won two. Consequently, six people were discharged, and the I-Landers with the lowest scores were sent to the Ground, with two people being eliminated at the end of the day. The names of the six people sent to the Ground were Um Jiwon, Nana, Kang Jiwon, Choi Soul, Park Yeeun, and Son Juwon. It was also announced which six people would move from the Grounders to I-Land: Ryu Sarang, Yui, Bang Jeemin, Nam Yuju, Yoon Jiyoon, and Kim Sujung.
At the end of the episode, it was announced that the two people eliminated from the show were Kang Jiwon and Nana.
