Undercover High School Plot
The story follows the thrilling adventures of an undercover agent who was once the ace field agent for the NIS. Sent to a school to find a missing treasure, he takes the form of a student only to come across his first love who is now his homeroom teacher.
Jung Hae-seong was once the ace field agent for the National Intelligence Service (NIS). However, an incident that took place during an operation changes everything for him and he receives a demotion. Now, he is put into an operation to locate the whereabouts of King Gojong’s missing gold bars and for this, he is to go undercover as a student at the prestigious Byeongmoon High School. Hiding his identity and trying to become one of the students isn’t as easy as it looks even for an ace agent, and things only get messier for him.
Teacher O Su-a is a contract teacher at Byeongmoon High School. She has an upright personality and holds strong affection for her students. She is also Hae-seong’s new homeroom teacher and is stunned when she sees the similarities between him and her first love. Su-a’s first love from her childhood days had once given her the biggest wound to her heart and remains unforgettable to her. When Hae-seong arrives in front of her she cannot ignore the similarities he holds to her first love and begins to look deeper into the situation.
However, this curiosity pulls her into something she would rather stay away from. What will be the result of this mission and her involvement in it? Is Hae-seong the person she is unable to forget? Will Hae-seong ever be able to find the gold bars?

Undercover High School takes over MBC’s Friday and Saturday 9:50 PM KST time slot previously occupied by Motel California.
