True to Love Episode 14 is titled the same as the show, as Bo-ra reflects on her life and relationships. Also known as Bo-ra! Deborah (보라! 데보라) is the latest romantic comedy-drama series on Amazon Prime Video. Co-directed by Lee Tae-gon and Seo Min-jeong, the K-Drama is developed by KT Studio Genie from a screenplay written by Ah Kyung.
The ensemble cast of the show includes Yoo In-na as Yeon Bo-ra/Deborah, Yoon Hyun-min as Lee Su-hyeok, Joo Sang-wook as Han Sang-jin, Hwang Chan-sung as Noh Ju-wan, Park So-jin as Lee Yu-jeong, Koo Jun-hoe as Yang Jin-ho, Kim Ye-ji as Yeon Bo-mi, Lee Sang-woon as Yang Jin-woo, Song Min-ji as Su-jin, Kim Ji-an as Yu-ri, and Park Ri-won as Da-mi.

The episode picks up right from the scene where Bo-ra and Su-hyeok were fighting about the ending of the book, which turns viciously personal. Everyone could hear what they were saying, and soon the duo comes out to Sang-jin and declare that they can not work on the book anymore. Bo-ra even decides just to cancel the book & is ready to pay the penalty amount. After hearing how something was going on between them, Sang-jin takes Su-hyeok out to drink and let some steam off.
There he shares that he didn’t want to become the bad guy and come in between if Bo-ra was happily getting back with her ex. Yet he misses her and even cries in pain. Seeing him in a drunk state, Sang-jin decides to leave him there with the phone in his hand, as he knew Su-hyeok will end up calling Bo-ra. At first, she was hesitant to pick up, but when she hears his drunk voice & falling over, she had no choice but to come & get him, as he did for her.
Su-hyeok tells her not to get back with Ju-wan and keeps on repeating the same thing. While taking him back, Bo-ra realises that he actually lived quite far, yet he lied that he lived nearby and always dropped her home. Even in his room, she sees that he had bought a gift for her & even wrote a note which indirectly confessed his feelings but never gave her when he saw Ju-wan was back.

The next day, Su-hyeok doesn’t seem to remember anything, but his memory gradually comes back. While Bo-ra was waiting for him to call so that they could at least talk and clear things, he never does. They eventually meet after some days for dinner, where Bo-ra tries to get something out of him – either a confession or apology but he remains silent. Instead, Bo-ra confesses that she has feelings for him, but seeing how he has no response to that as well, she realises that it wouldn’t have worked out.
While she was leaving, Su-hyeok tells her that he can’t put his emotions first and doesn’t know what to say, as he isn’t sure if dating would be the right thing for them. It makes Bo-ra sad, but she isn’t devastated, she has taken control of her life and knows that every ending wouldn’t always be happy, but she has to be the one writing them, just like her book’s ending.
Unexpectedly, Ju-wan invites her for dinner the next day, and she agrees to it, just to say goodbye for the last time. On the other hand, Yu-jeong crashes as her place to get away from Jin-woo and even considers divorce. But Su-jin advises her to listen to her husband’s side first and then make a decision. Contrary to them, Bo-mi’s relationship seems to be going well, and they even start planning a wedding and life together.
The dinner with Ju-wan goes the same way, where he keeps on talking about his work achievements, and she is just listening. He asks her to take a look at the new packaging of his product, and Bo-ra sees a ring inside it. Ju-wan then expresses his love for her and how he wants her in his life, but Bo-ra closes the ring box and says that she can’t accept it. Before he could insist more on it, Da-mi, the girl he cheated with, comes there as she was tracking his location.
Her arrival cues Bo-ra to leave, but Da-mi tries to humiliate her for meeting up with the ex-boyfriend again. Bo-ra understands her anger and tells her that she needs to redirect the furiousness on Ju-wan and not her. Just then, Su-hyeok also comes there after reading her complete novel and getting the location from Yu-jeong. He holds her hand and takes her outside, and asks – ‘Do I Like You’?
Baffled at the question, Bo-ra asks him why is he asking that to her, to which he takes her hand to his heart and says that she is the one who lives in it. He doesn’t know why he likes her, but he loves everything about her. Su-hyeok reveals that he is doing exactly what she wanted – a drama-like ending, and they kiss at last.

As for the other couples, they come around as well. Yu-jeong accidentally eavesdrops on Ji-woo and realises that he loves her equally and that breaking up is not the solution for them. Sang-jin also gives U-ri a chance and decides to take things slowly by doing things together, and Bo-mi happily marries Jin-ho with everyone’s blessing.
True to Love Episode 14 Review
It was indeed a happy ending, even though the character calls it open-ended. The frustration when Su-hyeok was completely silent while getting a love confession was very real, and in the real world, people don’t usually date them even if they come around, or it turns into a disaster eventually. However, I wished that Sang-jin didn’t get back with U-ri, and it should have been shown that not every crush will turn into a relationship. Overall, it was a heartwarming drama with many unpredictable and hilarious moments.
