True to Love Ending Explained
Initially, we see that Bo-ra was planning a married life with her boyfriend Ju-wan and was desperate to put a ring on her finger. However, her boyfriend doesn’t seem to have any plans of proposing anytime soon. So, she decides to propose to him instead, only to find him cheating with another girl who was introduced to her as his cousin. The love coach’s love life goes down the drain, despite following all the things that she advises others.
At her lowest moment, she comes across Su-hyeok, a cold book editor who accidentally witnesses all her breakdowns and embarrassing moments. At first, they were at crossroads, but as they start working together on a book, they try to understand each other better. In the last few episodes, we see that he definitely has feelings for Bo-ra but is hesitant to express them. Bo-ra feels the same way, but his non-expressiveness confuses her.
On the other hand, after seeing Bo-ra moving on in her life, Ju-wan tries to get back with her. He makes efforts to win her back and even tries to intimidate Su-hyeok from getting closer to her. Despite Bo-ra’s reluctance to even be friends with him, the trick works on Su-hyeok, who tries to distance himself and not get in her way, as she initially wanted to get back with Ju-wan only.

Who Does Bo-ra Choose?
When Su-hyeok doesn’t express his feelings despite asking him directly, Bo-ra confesses to him instead. Even then, he remains silent, but when she is about to leave, he says that he can’t put his emotions first and doesn’t know what to say, as he isn’t sure if dating would be the right thing for them. Bo-ra thinks that it was the end of their relationship, if there was any, and was obviously sad but didn’t mind much after going through everything.
On the other hand, Ju-wan takes her out for dinner and proposes to her with a ring. Thinking that Bo-ra would gladly take him back as he is showing commitment. However, Bo-ra closes the ring box and says that she can’t accept it. Before he could insist more on it, Da-mi, the girl he cheated with, comes there as she was tracking his location. It ends with Da-mi spilling the wine on him & Bo-ra gets up to leave.
On her way out, she finds Su-hyeok and he takes her outside by holding her hand. Instead of confessing, he asks her if he likes her. Confused by the question, she vents to him that he should verbalise what he feels and what he likes about her. He replies that expressing doesn’t come naturally to him, but he loves everything about her – good and bad. Su-hyeok wanted to give her a drama-like ending, and they eventually kiss, leading to their dating. Towards the end, Bo-ra even gets the ring she had been eyeing on.
Yu-jeong and Jin-woo
After having a fight about hiding things from each other and the evident distance between them, Yu-jeong contemplates her marriage and if it was fine to keep on living an unsatisfactory life. She even considers divorce, but Su-jin advises her to hear Jin-woo’s side as well and then make a decision. She decides to give it a try and goes to have a conversation with him and overhears Jin-woo telling Jin-ho about his married life.
After realising how much he actually loves her but has a different way of showing affection, she reconsiders her decision and decides to clear the misunderstandings. By openly expressing their feelings, Yu-jeong and Jin-woo find themselves much closer and in tune with each other.
Sang-jin and U-ri
Despite getting dumped by Sang-jin before U-ri could even confess properly, he reconsiders his hesitance and decides to give the innocent soul a chance. He takes her out for coffee and lets her confess like she was about to, that night. However, this time he accepts her feelings and decides to take it step by step.
Bo-mi and Jin-ho
As Bo-mi gets pregnant with Jin-ho’s child, they decide to get married. Bo-ra tells her that just because she got pregnant, it’s not necessary to marry and live with Jin-ho. However, Bo-mi shares that even though she is worried about everything, she wants to start a life with him and thinks that it will be all right. They decide to get married on Christmas when all their loved ones got together in one place. In the end, a picture of newborn twin babies was also revealed.
