The Glory Ending Explained
The Glory began the story of Moon Dong-eun and laid the groundwork for the reason why she is so adamant about revenge and the cards that she has prepared for her past bullies. Part 1 of this Kdrama showed us the reason for Song Hye-kyo’s character Moon Dong-eun’s obsession with her bully and the reason why she is prepared to do anything for her revenge.
The finale episode of this Kdrama shows Dong-eun getting her hands on puppets who can be used for her revenge as she gets a hold of one of her past bullies to make things hard for Park Yeon-jin; the person who is the mastermind among her bullies and has now become an obsession for Dong-eun.

Later, she brings Jeon Jae-joon and Ha Do-young face to face in a plot to create havoc in Yeon-jin’s life by bringing her husband and the father of her child together. Remembering the misdeeds done by Jae-joon in the past, Dong-eun is unable to keep her calm after meeting him, however, she continues to fight back her instinct to fulfil her plans.
Elsewhere, Do-young has his doubts about Dong-eun and is curious about her plans and the reason behind them; thus he finds Choi Hye-jeong who had been subdued by Dong-eun to find the reason. He is soon exposed to a side of his wife he didn’t know about and is left speechless and troubled by everything.
Later, he meets Joo Yeo-jung at the Go park and speaks of his troubles with a stranger, unaware that he is being guided and observed by the same stranger. Yeo-jung later assures Dong-eun that Do-young will call her soon.
On the other hand, Do-young asks Yeon-jin about Dong-eun but is subtly warned to never try to pry into her past as that is the way to keep their marriage harmonious. She assures him that she will take care of everything and never let her past affect her future.

Meanwhile, Jae-joon is unable to stop thinking about his daughter and meets Yeon-jin to bring her back into his life, only to have Yeon-jin realise that she has fallen in love with her husband. However, the two are unaware that Dong-eun has her eyes on them and has realised that Myeong-oh’s disappearance has to do with Yeon-jin who has probably killed him.
Elsewhere, Yeo-jung asks Dong-eun about the reason why he put her mother on the list of perpetrators while Dong-eun asks him about his passcode, unaware is the inmate number of the person who murdered his father. The same person who has been tormenting him with letters that describe the scene of the murder.
The scene then shifts to Jae-joon getting a call from the police station and it is known that someone has reported Myeong-oh’s disappearance which has now put them all at a risk. Meanwhile, Dong-eun has prepared everything for Kang Hyun-nam’s daughter to go abroad for her studies as her plan is soon to take a murderous turn.
On the other hand, Yeon-jin makes her way to Dong-eun’s apartment and is shocked to find out that she has been living in front of her house this whole time. She soon breaks into Dong-eun’s apartment and is shocked by what she sees.

Elsewhere, Do-young meets Dong-eun and asks her the reason she approached him and the reason why she has planned all this against Yeon-jin. Dong-eun tells him that the truth is going to hurt him but this is something that he needs to know.
The scene shifts to Yeo-jung entering the morgue to find out that Yoon So-hee’s body is not there while Yeon-jin is surprised when she sees Do-young enter Dong-eun’s apartment.

The show ends with Dong-eun at Yeo-jung’s house where she makes her next move on the Go board.
The ending really leaves us all excited as the masks have been ripped off and the real revenge is soon to begin. With endless questions left for us all and an eagerness that we can all feel after this spectacular show. It is clear that Dong-eun’s revenge will be for a reason bigger than we are all thinking of and the feeling that we are to get will be well worth the wait.
The Glory Season 2
The Glory season 1 has been a spectacular experience and we are quite sure that season 2 would do justice to this thriller. Seeing Dong-eun go full throttle on her bullies for her revenge will be a sight to behold and we can’t wait to experience that.
Meanwhile, I think that we are underestimating Yeon-jin’s evilness because she seems to be a much more dangerous villainess than what we have seen till now. Being able to kill someone in school and carrying on with her life is not something anyone sane can do and seeing her get worse from this point is what The Glory season 2 could be about.
The Glory season 2 is set to premiere in March 2023, however, no date has been set for the show’s return. But that does not mean that fans won’t wait because we are surely all eagerly looking forward to its return.
So let’s wait for season 2, in the meantime, let us know what you think of season 1 of the show in the comments below!
