Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse Trailer: Miles Morales and his Search for Multiversal Solace

The trailer for Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse has finally arrived on Youtube and other social media platforms. Moreover, the official clip for the upcoming sequel gives us a brief look into Miles Morales life, after the event of the first movie, and finds him looking for a meaning and solace, in the multiverse.

The complete voice cast of the sequel includes Shameik Moore as Miles Morales / Spider-Man, Hailee Steinfeld as Gwen Stacy / Spider-Woman, Jake Johnson as Peter B. Parker / Spider-Man, Oscar Isaac as Miguel O’Hara, Brian Tyree Henry as Jefferson Davis, Luna Lauren Vélez as Rio Morales, Issa Rae as Jessica Drew / Spider-Woman, Jason Schwartzman as the Spot, Daniel Kaluuya as Hobart Hobie Brown.

The enthralling trailer of the upcomong film exudes all vibes of a classic Spider-Man movie, right from the opening monologue by Miles’ mom. It resembles a meticulous Unlce Ben adivise, but this time specifically meant for the young and distinct friendly neighbourhood Spide-Man.

Furthermore, the monologue layers the entire clip, filled with jaw dropping multiversal sequences. Including even more renditions of the titular character, that ever existed. Plus, we also get to see some recurring characters like Gwen Stefani, joining the protagnist, in his surreal adventures.

Miles Morales (played by Shameik Moore) appears more mature, detemined and experience in the two minute thirty second trailer. The animated version of Spider-Man, symbolizes all the action elements of the character, with his charistmatic web slinging sequences. And if that wasn’t enough, we also get to see a badass version of Spidey, riding a motorbike.

Notably, the trailer also gives us the brief look of Stan Lee, who appears in the yet another cameo role. This is sure going to be a huge moment for the fans, who get to see him in the animate avatar. Morever, the official clip ends with Miles fighting with another Multiversal version of his kind, on the same portal space, that we saw in the first film.
