Outlast Players
The 16 contestants competing for the ultimate prize are: Amber Asay, Andrea Hilderbrand, Angie Kenai, Brian Kahrs, Corey Johnson, Dawn Nelson, Javier Colon, Jill Ashock, Joel Hungate, Jordan Williams, Justin Court, Lee Ettinger, Nick Radner, Paul Preece, Seth Lueker and Timothy Spears.
The participants were divided into four teams. Team Charlie consisted of Andrea, Angie, Nick and Seth, Team Delta consisted of Dawn, Joel, Jordan and Paul, Team Alpha consisted of Amber, Jill, Justin and Lee; and finally, Team Bravo consisted of Brian, Corey, Javier and Tim.

Outlast Premise
Not many rules existed in the game, and the main objective for each team was to survive until the very end to win the hefty cash prize. However, the only catch was that the participants had to be a part of a team to win the series. Players without teams were forced to step out of the game. The “lone wolves” most difficult task was to work together other than surviving in the coldest, wettest and most dangerous circumstances.
However, the simple game of survival took a rather darker turn in the last few episodes. Some of the participants began to plot and scheme against their opponents. Team Alpha aggressively attacked Team Delta by stealing their sleeping bags and leaving them without any warmth in those harshest conditions. The temperature was rapidly dropping, and after facing multiple defeats, Dawn and Joel shot their flare guns and quit the game.
On the other hand, Javier from Team Bravo also faced Team Alpha’s wrath, but he decided not to give up and requested Team Charlie to let him join them. However, his last effort to stay in the game went in vain and having no team; he was forced to quit. Ultimately, Team Alpha turned on each other at the very end, and Justin decided to change teams and joined Team Charlie. But he was also eventually kicked out due to his repeated misdemeanours.

Outlast Winners
The last showdown was between Team Alpha and Team Charlie. They were given a last task which determined the absolute winner of the game show.
The teams were given the task of retrieving packages from the shore, and the first ones to reach would be the winners. Both teams took different paths and crossed every obstacle that came their way. However, Team Charlie managed to reach the packages first, making them the winners of the first season of Outlast.
Nick Radner, Seth Lueker, and Paul Preece from Team Charlie took away a total cash prize of one million dollars after surviving for over twenty days in the Alaskan wilderness. Jill Ashock and Amber Asay of Team Alpha, who called themselves ‘the underdogs’ of the show, expressed their discontent.

This show sucks… I think the show should have put clearer rules and restrictions.
The other team stealing sleeping bags from the neighbouring team was just savage and unfair. Such bad people, bad players setting bad example for kids watching…and thats why there will never be season 2 for this show. If there is, I’ll probably not going to watch it.
digusting bahavior. no amount of money would make me sell my soul, also on TV. WOW. Thanks God team alpha didn’t win. Although those that did were not good ppl either. The show obviously deliberately bought in sociopaths. i agree that none of their traits were just bought out by the show, they had it in them from the start
Agreed. It is beyond me that a show would NOT have some type of rule of engagement specifically in reference to placing someone’s life in jeopardy. How horrid alpha behaved and how pathetic they really turned out to be.
Glad alpha didnt win
..evil tactics to jeopardize peoples’ lives and take away the fairness in the game. That was cheating, and stealing should not be supported. I will not watch another season because it will likely be worse if the rules arent cleaned up.
And that b*tch from Alpha was a detective ?! Like homicide detective?! That’s a terrifying thought!!!
Nah she’s a private investigator, don’t worry.
