Nice to Not Meet You Episode 6 Recap
This episode begins with the point of view of Jeong-sin, where she begins to look at rice cookers to buy. We then get to see how she found out about the product and then contacted the seller, Hyun-jun, which had already happened in the previous episode. After coming back from the deal, they both chat for a bit without knowing each other’s identity. Hyun-jun definitely liked the fact that Jeong-sin had a major crush on him, as he thought that there was finally someone who saw him for himself.
Later, Jeong-sin even fantasises about Hyun-jun, and it becomes clear that she is already in love with him. She also becomes very upset when her boss makes a comment that celebrities should not end up with non-celebrities. Other than that, we get a hilarious scene between Hyun-jun’s mother and Jae-hyung’s mother. Apparently, they both knew each other back when they used to act. However, they absolutely hate each other now, and it gets revealed that Hyun-jun’s mother wishes to act again. She asks her son to help her out, but he does not listen to her.

On the other hand, Jeong-sin wishes to spark dating rumours about Se-na. However, for that, she needs to get an interview with the actress who refuses to meet with her. Thus, to make the Se-na come to her, she literally writes very controversial articles about Se-na so that she’s the one who reaches out. In this meeting, something interesting happens because Jeong-sin gets visibly jealous when she gets to know that Se-na is planning on dating Hyun-jun. She even confronts her outright and realises that she is overreacting to something like this. However, she also gets much information about her current boyfriend, the assemblyman, and they kind of get into an understanding where Se-na agrees to help her ruin Dae-ho.
In this episode, we also see Jeong-sin continuing her conversation with the rice cooker seller, about whom she still does not know. Here, both Hyun-jun and Jeong-sin shared some genuine feelings about their daily lives and problematic pasts. They again crossed paths when Jeong-sin went to cover a dating rumour between a senior actor and a psychiatrist. Funnily enough, Hyun-jun also visits the same psychiatrist, and again, they bicker because of a misunderstanding.

However, here, Hyun-jun literally helps Jeong-sin get photos of the senior actor dating someone 30 years his junior. Though they spend much time together, towards the end, they again part ways on a very bitter note. Hyun-jun outright tells Jeong-sin not to meet him ever again and treats her in a very harsh way. Professionally, things also do not look good, as after Jeong-sin publishes the dating article, the news blows up, and the said actor gets dragged vehemently.

Jeong-sin hates this aspect of her job and decides to quit it for good. However, at her farewell party, she has a bit too much to drink and misses the call from Hyun-jun in the process. The person who picks up her phone is Jae-hyung, who takes Jeong-sin home in a taxi.

Nice to Not Meet You Episode 6 Review
Today’s episode was good, as it finally showcased how the characters would start their romantic journey, even though they hate each other right now. Both protagonists also dive deep into their personal issues, which is something that became the highlight here.
