My Name is Gabriel episode 12 brings the final leg of Dex’s journey in the mountains of Georgia while Gabee surprises everyone with her dance skills.

My Name is Gabriel brings celebrities to live the life of another person from anywhere in the world for 72 hours. As celebrities take up the name of another person from anywhere in the world, they spend their time as the said person while living their life. Promising a unique experience to the participants and viewers of the show, we are set for some entertaining content very soon.

My Name is Gabriel Episode 12 Recap

Dex’s journey in the beautiful mountains of Georgia continues as he goes to town with Rati’s parents. The first stop is a market where they stock up everything they need for the next day’s party. As the bags keep adding up, Dex accompanies the couple while carrying the bags for them. After the shopping, the trio heads toward a cafe where Dex leaves them alone to enjoy a nice first date.

Meanwhile, he heads to a toy store to get gifts for the birthday girl while the couple enjoys a nice time taking pictures. With this, the trio heads back home only to get news of the pregnant pig giving birth. Dex is happy to hear this and wonders if his prediction will come true again.

During the trip, Dex’s predictions about the place he’ll be sent to, and the life he will live, have come true. This time, he also predicted there to be 10 piglets born and is left surprised when his prediction comes true once again. Later, Dex prepares a Korean-styled dinner for the couple and shares a hearty meal with them.

The next day, Dex wakes up and begins his daily routine as Rati before going to help the mother. He tries to help her out with the party preparations but she sends him to get some mineral water from Borjomi for the father’s chacha. Dex makes his way there alone and is mesmerized by the sights he sees along the way in the town.

In Borjomi, he gets some bottles and heads to collect the water but is surprised by the taste, and not in a good way. However, he finishes collecting the water and heads back with cheery steps which results in him dropping a bottle. The loss of the water leaves Dex stabilizing his steps as he heads home.

The family has begun gathering and Dex shows great enthusiasm greeting them all as he makes his way into everyone’s hearts during the gathering. He greets and mixes up with everyone as his brother and uncle begin getting him drunk while the meat cooks. Soon, the family gathers on the table to eat and Dex’s energy leaves everyone happy and cheerful.

However, this is all thanks to the many drinks already given to him and the many more coming his way. Luckily, the father stops his elder son from giving Dex any more drinks and he finally begins enjoying the food. Soon, the birthday girl arrives and it is time to cut the cake. Dex brings out the cake and everyone begins singing to the birthday girl after which he brings the toys he has bought for the kids.

The kids are happy with the gifts and the excitement gets higher as the music sways everyone while the food and drinks only add to the fun. Soon, it is time for Dex’s time as Rati to come to an end and the mother cannot stop her tears from falling. As his time there comes closer to an end, the father takes Dex on one last task.

On the way to the delivery, the duo keeps quiet on the way there and Dex soon realizes that his time is ending. The two stop near a lake, where they spend time in the peaceful serenity of the place. Soon, his time is up and he returns to his life as Dex, leaving behind the beautiful memories made in his life as Rati.

An epilogue shows that Rati was present among the tourists on Dex’s first day in Georgia. Meanwhile, Rati’s father sends Dex a piece of pottery that he made with a special message for Dex. With this, Dex’s journey officially ends, with a wish to meet again someday.

Meanwhile, Gabee’s journey sees new challenges as she prepares to enter the soapbox race along with the other band members. The next day, Gabee enjoys a morning talking about the sister’s boyfriends, and finding out about the dancing talent running in the family. The sister invites Gabee to her dance class while the mother prepares the Zumba group to assemble for a class in front of the house.

Gabee is excited and soon the Zumba ladies arrive in front of the house and a class begins. The high-energy dance begins and Gabee struggles to catch up with the ladies who do this daily. As Gabee struggles to keep up with them, Dex comments that this is due to the high altitude which is causing Gabee to get tired sooner.

Meanwhile, Gabee gives up on Zumba and lies down while the ladies finish their Zumba. The family then heads to the sister’s dance class where Gabee joins her and surprises the instructor with her flexibility. After a tiring stretch, the three begin the class and Gabee continues to surprise everyone. Soon, she takes up the stage and shows off her charm, mesmerizing everyone present.

Suddenly, the teacher’s friend joins in and a battle between them begins with the teacher and his friend on one side, and Gabee and the sister on the other. Everyone enjoys the battle while the parents also don’t stop from joining in. With this, the day comes to an end, and the next day, Gabee and her team head to the soapbox race.

However, they are in a problem when they find out that their vehicle is above the designated weight. What will they do now?

My Name is Gabriel Episode 12 Review

Another episode comes to an end along with the end of Dex’s journey which was fulfilling and a pleasure to watch. He was certainly the highlight of this episode and seeing his relationship with Rati’s parents was beautiful. While he says that he is an introvert, Dex’s actions have only shown an unexpected extroverted behavior which can also be because of how comfortable he got with the parents.

He has surely made the most of his time in Georgia and the family has welcomed him with open arms, which only made his journey all the more beautiful. Meanwhile, Gabee continues to portray her talents and energy with each passing episode and we are definitely loving each moment of her time spent in Mexico.

While the culture there brings out the best in Gabee, seeing her indulge to the best of her ability only makes these episodes even better. Altogether, the two are bringing a treat to our screens and we are loving every moment of their time as their Gabriels.
