Kian’s Bizarre B&B Finale Recap
In Kian’s Bizarre B&B Episode 7, the staff have a fun time with the young men in the gym, followed by an evening filled with stories about each other. The next day, the barge is taken out into the sea, leading to Kian getting seasick, after which everyone heads out to land. After a fun lunch, the staff stage a surprise for the Job-seeking group while two new guests arrive. Later at night, Jin pulls the Job-seeking group to pull the fishing net, and they are unable to believe what they see.
The surprise continues into Kian’s Bizarre B&B Episode 8, where the group finds packaged seafood in the net that Jin used to play a prank on them. At dinner, Ye-eun’s buckwheat noodles become a hit among the guests, after which Kian and Jin head out to fish for squid for snacks. Kian surprises Jin with his emotional moment, looking at the squid being fished. After this fun evening, the next way to welcome a new staff member to the B&B.
Kian needs to leave for a schedule, and taking his place is Kwak Joon-bin. After a quick tour of the B&B and a task list handed over, Kian takes his leave while the staff and guests head ashore. Joon-bin’s suggestion is taken for lunch, after which the two head back to the B&B while Ye-eun stays behind to pick up some snacks for the guests. The duo then get busy cleaning and cooking while another guest makes a call to Jin. The guests soon return, and another day comes to an end with lots of fun while Kian worries for them all.
Finally, Kian’s Bizarre B&B Episode 9 arrives with the departure of some of the most memorable guests, while another set of guests arrive. Unfortunately, Kian arrives much later, so the staff head out to have lunch with him ashore while the guests leave to have fun. After lunch, the group arrives at the annex where they had spent the first night on this show and are filled with memories of the place. Following this, they drop Joon-bin and move forward with the day.
Kian begins cooking, and this time it is a special something for one of the guests. When the guests return, this particular guest is moved to tears seeing what Kian has prepared. Post dinner, Kian brings everyone outside the building for a little surprise, and after making them shout out their wishes, he starts the fireworks that he had prepared since day 1. Seeing the beautiful fireworks cover the night sky fills everyone with emotions as they look back at the fond memories created in this place.
Another night of fun begins, after which the day of the B&B’s closure arrives. The guests bid their goodbyes, and the staff got cleaning on Kian’s persistence. After a chaotic time finishing up this task, the staff wraps up the show with a promise to return again with another season of Kian’s Bizarre B&B.
Kian’s Bizarre B&B Finale Review
Kian’s Bizarre B&B comes to an end after delivering us an entertaining 3 weeks, lots of chaos, healing, and some unforgettable memories. Irrespective of how bizarre the place was, every guest who arrives on this show has made some fond memories of the place. Be it through the eccentric home they stayed in or through the staff who healed them in their own ways. This show was more than just a comedy, it was relaxing (in its own way), healing, and heartwarming.
I have to say, this show went beyond my expectations of being just funny and brought in so many more positive emotions that I didn’t see coming. It wasn’t just about the individuals on the show, but also the chemistry the trio formed throughout the duration of the show. Be it the fighting scenes between Jin and Ye-eun (Kian’s little devil and angel on his shoulders), or the support they provided to each other, they formed a great team together who really worked hard for this show.
I also have to mention the wonderful editing that was done by the off-screen staff, especially for the last episode. I loved the picture edit with Yoon-bin in the back and Kian dancing while floating in front of the fireworks. They entertained us with their creativity just as much as the staff, and I loved it.
Altogether, this was truly an unforgettable show for the audience, and I hope that a second season comes our way very soon!
