Code Name Emperor Ending Explained

Through that, he finds out that the couple is trying to sell radioactive material which is used to make bombs to sell to a German buyer.

He hatches a plan with his team to steal the material before it gets shipped, but he is caught and a shoot-out fight breaks out. Juan is able to save himself by the hair and fortunately, the intelligence force reaches there in time and catches everyone, including the couple. Simultaneously, he was also tasked with finding out any dirt about the politician Ángel Gónzalez.
But his track record is squeaky clean, except for a fake social media profile, which he uses to talk to other people. With nothing to hand to his boss Galán, he is suggested to tempt him with something to get him framed and then blackmailed to do their deeds. He then sets up a fake profile with a girl’s picture he is acquainted.
When Wendy’s employer couple gets busted, he asks her to stay with him and confesses that he wants to make a life with her. He tells her that his name is Juan, not Alex and she can stay with him until they move somewhere else together. Juan sets up a meeting with Angel using the fake catfish profile and asks Marta for help. She meets up with Angel, disguised as Sara and gets to know him a bit.
Marta is also one of the people that Juan was assigned to. He had helped her from getting into a drug scandal and thus asks for her favour. He then sets her up at the party where Ángel was also present and Sara hears him talking about his wife while working as the server. Surprised to see Sara there, he tries to make her understand his identity as a politician.
She then manipulates him into taking her to his hotel room, where Juan has already set up spy cameras. He records everything that happened in the room, followed by Sara hitting her nose on the sink intentionally and running out of the room. Juan escorts her into his room which was a few steps away and goes to Ángel’s room acting as a police officer.
He scares Ángel by talking about the scandal that can happen and plants drugs in his bathroom too. But even in that distress, he is not able to find out any other dirt on Ángel apart from the one he had trapped him into. Marta sees that Juan had been monitoring everything and hearing him say the same exact words make her realise that her past scandal might have been planned too.
She takes his laptop and crushes it completely but he could still extract the data from it. Meanwhile, Juan is not able to find Wendy and finds out that she has been taken by the police due to her employer’s case. Enraged by it he copies all the assignment data into one and gives it to the journalist he works with.
He also confronts Galán and is able to get Wendy out of police custody by giving him the sex tape from the hotel room of Ángel Gónzalez. He then gives Wendy everything she would need to start a new life and she promises that she will be at the guest house by the sea, managed by 7 sisters and waiting for him.
The journalist is finally able to access the drive he gave her, after 4 hours and it asks for a code name. At the same time, she gets the email with the code in it, which turns out to be emperor. On the other hand, we see Juan taking his luggage and moving out of the house.
Code Name Emperor is now streaming on Netflix.
