Ahead of their comeback, NCT Dream has released Broken Melodies Music Video and has captivated the fans with their melodic trance. The song serves as a pre-release single track which will also be included in the upcoming third full-length album ISTJ. The music video premiered on June 19, 2023, at 6 PM KST.
The soothing pop song has striking visuals combined with seamless editing that makes it stand out from the usual music videos. Besides the impressive video, the singers have adequately shown off their vocal abilities throughout the track that swooned NCTZENS yet again.
The lyrics of the music video talk about a relationship that has kept the lovers separated by distance. Even though there are difficulties, they try to maintain the relationship by defying the distance through a simple call. The members sing about how they are tired of waiting, and they hate “singing”, which conveys the longing to be with their one and only. The loneliness and Broken Melodies have taken over their lives, and they cannot help but lament over the dire situation all day long.
As usual, the fans of the boy group took to Twitter to discuss about the new song. They are completely in love with the latest track and the simple yet adorable concept. The K-pop group, which is the third sub-unit of NCT, consists of seven members: Mark, Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin, Chenle, and Jisung. The fans are impressed with each member’s vocal abilities and dancing skills. Moreover, even the rappers of the group contributed to singing which left everyone pleasantly surprised.
The group’s third full-length album is set to release on July 17, 2023, along with the music video of the title track. Although it is unsure what the concept of the album will be, it is guaranteed that the boy group will not disappoint. Moreover, just five days after the album’s premiere, the group will hold their seventh anniversary fan meeting, DREAM LAND, on July 22, 2023, at Jamsil Indoor Stadium. The event will start at 8 PM KST and will be available to stream online.
