Bleach Thousand Year Blood War Part 2 Episode 11 sees things go to the next level, literally and figuratively. Let’s see how things escalated in this review!

Bleach Thousand Year Blood War Part 2 Episode 11 Overview

Bleach Thousand Year Blood War Part 2 Episode 11 Title

What is there to be said about Bleach that hasn’t been said before? It is one of the most popular anime in the West of Japan of all time and is considered a part of the Big Three, a trio of anime widely recognised as having been a part of popularising the medium of anime. The show is back after a hiatus of nine years, as its first run ended in 2013. The newest season of the show is being developed by Studio Pierrot, the studio behind the original series, as well as other giants such as Naruto and Tokyo Ghoul.

The second part of the final arc of Bleach is directed by Tomohisa Taguchi, who has been involved in the productions of Persona 4 The Animation and Twin Star Exorcists, and the series is based on a manga written by Tite Kubo. This episode is also referred to in original Japanese as Bleach Sennen Kessen-hen Ketsubetsu-tan Episode 11 (Bleach Sennen Kessen hen Ketsubetsu tan Episode 11) and Bleach TYBW Part 2 Episode 11. Bleach Thousand Year Blood War Part 2 Episode 11 Review- Too Early To Win, Too Late To Know

Ichibe Young Bleach Thousand Year Blood War Part 2 Episode 11

This episode felt like it was on a whole other level than the rest of the series so far. This is talking about not just the start of the Thousand Year Blood War but the series in general. We have come a long way from slaying hollows and have ascended to the realm of Gods, literally and figuratively. Bleach isn’t just the playing ground of mortals anymore, even though everyone in here can very much still die. That just makes things even more exciting, for what is a God to a guy with a huge sword?

The episode began where everything did- Yhwach’s hidden Quincy headquarters, where he and Ichibe demonstrated powers beyond the viewer’s comprehension at that moment in the show. They were extraordinarily cool and excited us more about the show’s future, of course, which was their point. Alongside revealing a few more details about Yhwach’s past, we also looked at a group looming in the show’s background so far – Squad Zero.

Well, it’s not fair to say that they’ve been in the background, as they’ve played a huge part in training Ichigo and his friends, alongside helping a few of them come back from the brink of death. We’ve also got small nudges in the direction of their strength, as it was also made extremely clear that while most of them don’t mind having a little fun here and there, they are all the strongest entities in this world, and if made to, they would do their absolute best to make life hell for the invaders of Soul Society.

It was an absolute blast having them get the center stage and show everyone what they were all about. Senjumaru’s voice actress has a new fan for life after this episode. She was the only one who did not have any time with herself and Ichigo in the show, like every other member of Squad Zero, but she made the absolute most of her time in Bleach Thousand Year Blood War Part 2 Episode 11. Alongside these old faces, we also got to see a few more Sternritters come into play from Yhwach’s side – and these ones were very close to him.

This was an extremely exciting episode of Bleach, mostly because the build-up to it had been so good. Squad Zero and their role in this world had been subtly but insistently forced into our minds as we went through all the events that happened before it, thus making the fulfillment of that premise an experience that was more than worth partaking in. This episode felt like the big time did a fantastic job of escalating the stakes of the plot. Oh, did I mention that Ichigo and the team were also there? No? Eh. Not that important in this episode.

Verdict

Bleach Thousand Year Blood War Part 2 Episode 11 was one of the most exciting episodes of the series so far and one that had earned all of that excitement through months of build-up and storytelling.
