Mi-ho and Gi-gwang start Big Mouth episode 6 off with doubts in their minds as they try to drink their issues away. Mi-ho’s questions are valid – too many people have died, and there’s also the mysterious money that Chang-ho conjured up all of a sudden. She, thus, decides to meet her husband and ask him face to face about what is going on.

The next morning at the prison in Big Mouth episode 6, Yoon-gab reminds everyone to be on their best behaviour since the volunteers are coming to the prison for a medical check-up. It’s a fun time for them – they get good food and hit on the nurses, so, you know, it’s a change in their mundane routine.
Surprisingly, in spite of Mi-young saying otherwise, Mi-ho is going to the volunteer thing at the prison. On her way, she thinks over everything that Do-ha and Ji-hoon told them, and at the prison, everyone gives her a side-eye. On the other hand, Chang-ho rushes to get all spick and span for his wife when Soo-chul gives him the news of her arrival.

However, before the romance begins, Chang-ho gets rid of the VIPs so that they don’t cause issues for him. But then again, when he learns that Jae-ho’s wife is there as well, he lets him meet her. This, of course, causes the fight to break out among the three as Chae-bong accuses Jae-ho of being in cahoots with Big Mouse.
When the prisoners are finally let in, everyone bows to Mi-ho, which must be very shocking for her since she looks extremely awkward with everyone greeting her. However, when they start chanting his name is when she starts to feel deeply weirded out.
Soo-chul, furthermore, asks her to simply follow him to meet Chang-ho, which puts her in a further awkward position with everyone else. Joo-hee lets her go because her being there just causes problems for them, and an embarrassed Mi-ho leaves to keep the peace (not before the others tease her relentlessly).

Going down the dark depths of the prison to the VIP room and Mi-ho is shocked to see the opulence in which Chang-ho is staying in. When she sees him, she looks like she doesn’t know who he is. He tries to hug her, but Mi-ho goes straight to the point and promises to end things between them if he lies – is he Big Mouse? Chang-ho simply looks at her without saying anything, and Mi-ho can’t believe what she’s seeing.
However, there’s a catch – Yoon-gab is listening to everything that is going on, and he can’t share the truth with her there. He thus drags her to the field where there are no prying eyes or, well, ears. Yoon-gab looks frustrated at not being able to catch this juicy discussion, and Chang-ho tells his wife everything, even though, as he mentions, it would be difficult for her to accept it.
Chang-ho mentions that when he got the list from Do-ha, he was cornered by someone who changed the list with the one that actually worked. They also left behind tarot cards for him to interpret. On the day of facing Ji-hoon, he contemplated which names to go with, but when Do-ha rushed in all tensed, he knew that the names on the cards were the real ones.

The death at the prosecutor’s office was also planned by Big Mouse thoroughly, and he also mentions that Big Mouse wants him to bring out the truth about Jae-young’s death. A concerned Mi-ho asks him not to get into this, but Chang-ho mentions that if he doesn’t do as he’s being told, he will die. However, he is also using Big Mouse such that he can kill two birds with one stone. Mi-ho volunteers to find Jae-young’s paper to help her husband out, although he is quite opposed to the idea.
Back at doing her duty, Mi-ho is quite confused to find that there are two trays with Mi-young that no one can tell her what they are about. Meanwhile, Jae-ho tries to strangle Hye-jin because he’s a perverted wife beater. But, the real fun comes out in the mess hall when Chang-ho protects his wife from her bullies – it’s a glorious scene.

As Mi-ho tells her father that Park Chang-ho is Park Chang-ho, Do-ha and Ji-hoon have fun practising their shooting. Ji-hoon’s temper gets in the way of getting. Eventually, he gets chided by the Elder and further rubs salt in his wound when he volunteers to talk to the judge to get the Three Musketeers out. At the hospital, Mi-ho gets a call from Kyung-sook, Nam Yi-soo’s guardian.
She asks her whether she wants Jae-young’s papers, and Mi-ho’s yes makes her ask for money in return. Mi-ho agrees to the exchange but asks her to prove that she has the papers. Kyung-sook starts to tell her that the paper is in a necklace with ‘that woman’, but before she can finish that sentence, Kyung-sook is pushed from the hospital terrace, and she plummets to her death.
As she’s sitting in front of the hospital, she remembers Kyung-sook watching a show with Joo-hee and being fixated with her. And then it clicks – Joo-hee wears a necklace. Is it the necklace that Kyung-sook mentioned before she died? Mi-ho convinces Joo-hee to give her the necklace but soon realises she’s got it wrong. However, unknown to Mi-ho, there was someone else in the stall in the washroom that neither of them was privy to.

Meanwhile, in prison, Chang-ho asks Big Mouse to stop the bail from being posted. However, this time Big Mouse doesn’t help Chang-ho. This time, he has to do everything himself. That night, he threatens Jae-ho not to betray him once outside. Otherwise, he will burn him alive. Outside the prison, Do-ha and Mi-ho meet again, and she tells the mayor that she is going to trust her husband.
But, all that has to come later because Mi-ho finally lands her hands on Jae-young’s paper – it’s inside Hye-jin’s necklace. In a flashback, we see Hye-jin’s perspective and how she met Jae-young. After being badly beaten by Jae-ho, she stumbled in front of Jae-young’s car, who rescued her, and they apparently fell in love. He gave her the necklace – something that she promised she would treasure forever. Hye-jin looks devastated at how her life turned out. Also, the fact that Jae-ho is getting released cannot be good for her.
Big Mouth Episode 6 Ending

Talking about getting bail, the Three Musketeers seem to be in a good mood now that they are getting out. Chang-ho reminds them to confess during the trial since there is no place where he can’t catch them. Unfortunately for Chang-ho, however, things get risky when Chun-sik turns out to be a mole who has given away their private conversations to the Three Musketeers and have now sided with the other party.
Furthermore, they aren’t letting Jae-ho out, so he’s not going to be at the trial either, removing the one person who would’ve confessed everything. Chang-ho looks shocked and confused in front of the others, but once they leave, he laughs maniacally and mentions with a very scary grin that they all got fooled.
Big Mouth Episode 6 Review

In another absolutely brilliant episode, Big Mouth keeps us invested in what is going on and who is fooling whom!
So, when Chang-ho gets drugged, a person wearing a prisoner’s uniform ambushes him. So, does that mean it’s one of the prisoners? Or is it someone from the outside masquerading as a prisoner? I have my suspicions about Jerry for some reason. He’s just too much in the foreground but then again, not enough. You know how shows want you to know the suspect by not making them overtly apparent? That’s what I feel about Jerry.
I somewhat feel similarly for Guard Gan Soo-chul – he has the means to pull all the tricks that Chang-ho is pulling without pulling too much suspicion towards him. It’s a maddening race against time to figure out what is going on – but then again, I want not to know who the person is till the end so that the tension remains built.
The episode has been absolutely amazing because of the other characters and their storylines as well. The person who pushed Kyung-sook should be Big Mouse – and if that’s the case, it can’t be Jerry. However, I guess hiring other people or having a partner isn’t a far-fetched idea in that case. With how the story is looking right now, all of them have a high chance of being Big Mouse. And I am here for that sweet revelation!
And also, can I mention how fine the men are looking and acting in this show? Like, Lee Jong-suk and Kim Joo-hun are just so charming and captivating on-screen that even though you don’t understand what they are trying to do, you can’t help but be enamoured by them. Especially the mayor – every scene he is in is just so tense and striking. Meanwhile, Lee Jong-suk deserves no introduction because he’s doing a fantastic job at portraying the different shades of a complex character. His flirty nature in Big Mouse episode 6, especially, will be a fan favourite!
