Another Self Ending Explained
Towards the end of Another Self, we seemed to be moving towards a happy ending with happier days for the three friends and more sorted situations. But this couldn’t be the end because there were mysteries left to be solved.
Sevgi is finally happy as she makes up with her mother and decides to let go of the past that her mother is hiding from her. She gets married to Fiko and the two have a beautiful wedding. With a healthy body, a loving husband and the support of her mother, she finally finds her happiness.

However, a letter from her mother telling her the truth about her father has broken her heart and her cancer is back. It is also revealed that she has not been taking her medicine for some time as she believed that she has been cured. This anger Ada as she goes to meet Zaman.
There Ada finds out that Zaman is actually a certified doctor and has not met his son for years now. She first tells him about Sevgi and asks him to teach him what he does. This is because at the end of the day she believes in his skills and wants to save her friend. She then questions him about his child but Zaman asks her to not talk about it.
Earlier, Ada comes to Toprak to bid his farewell as he is ready to leave for the Netherlands to meet his daughter. The two have found peace with each other and Toprak asks her to move to the Netherlands with him. She agrees but after getting the news about Sevgi she decides to postpone this plan.
Later, Eva- the mother of Toprak’s daughter arrives and kisses him. Surprised, Toprak pushes him away and asks why she is here and then turns to explain the situation to Ada. However, it is too late as she has already misunderstood the situation and leaves from there.
Elsewhere, Leyla has decided to start anew as she invests in Fiko’s business with the inheritance money in order to support her son and herself. She has finally given up on her husband and set to live a more relaxing life for her son. But peace doesn’t stay for long when she finds out that she is pregnant. Worried, she does not know what to do next.

At the beginning of the show, the three had wished for something; Ada for a chance to go to Brussel, Segvi for love, and Leyla for bigger boobs, along with Segvi’s health. While it seemed like they were getting their wishes in some form or the other, it was all for a moment until everything fell apart.
Now again with new hopes, the three are ready to take part in Zaman’s session and this time they seem more determined than ever to get their lives sorted. Once again displaying their strong bond that is ready to face the next set of challenges.
Will there be a Season 2?
The show should definitely have a season 2 because the gates for the next season are wide open. There are too many questions that need answers and we are definitely hoping for a better and more peaceful ending for the three women. With Zaman’s life and practice also being questioned, we want to know about the story of his life too.
The story began with Sevgi and it is her who has become the biggest reason for another season because we all saw her being cured but the sudden relapse has created doubts in many. And Ada’s interest in learning about this spiritual practice is also intriguing but will she ever be able to have a more calm personality like Zaman’s to learn it?
The questions are many, what will Leyla do about her pregnancy, what will Toprak do now that it seems that he is hurting Ada once again, and what will Ada do about her relationship with Toprak? Also, why did Sevgi’s mother decide to give her the letter at this very moment?
As the questions keep building up, we definitely don’t want to be left hanging so there should definitely be another season and we are eagerly looking forward to it.

Really enjoyed season 1.
The chemistry between Ada and Toprak is sensational…
Not sure what I missed to not understand what was in the letter right at the end…
So yes, really looking forward to season 2…bring it on 9/10 stars.
So loved Black Money Love
I dont understand why Sergie is upset about the letter? What am I missing?
I can’t remember which episode but they talked about a jeweler. I’m not sure if I can recall….I may have to go back and watch it again but that episode may hold the answer.
The father she loved and mourned was not her real father, but her step father. Her real father was a jeweller and revolutionary who got shot while she was in the womb. More grief – more deceit – a huge shock for sure
Great show
Sevgie real father actually died when she was still not born yet , so the father who she loved n the one who died when she was 5 is her fathers friend who raised her .
I had to watch that scene a few times to get it !
I also did not understand the letter.
Does anyone have any idea the name of the book on the table at the restaurant? Were Ada was sitting across from Zaman and he invited her to a session and told her to read page 24. I would love to read that book
I’m curious about this as well.

P.S I love the movie it made me think about self discovery and learning about decisions that can effect your life choices.
It has me rewatching the last episode to understand the letter. But why now. I’m still puzzle about it. Hope season 2 comes soon
