In episodes 5 and 6, Ji-an accepts the responsibility of murthehelp and picks up a gun alongside Min-hye to protect themselves from the onslaught of mercenaries who will stop at nothing before seeing her dead. However, just as Ji-an almost has her face cut in half, Pasin arrives as her aide and she is saved. Plus, we also learn about Bane’s animosity towards Jin-man and his family and why he is desperate to kill Ji-an under any circumstance.
Lee Dong-wook and Kim Hye-jun are the leads in this drama (킬러들의 쇼핑몰), which is based on The Killer’s Shopping Mall by Kim Ji-young. The screenplay is written by Ji Ho-jin & Lee Kwon and directed by Lee Kwon and Noh Gyu-yeob. The Disney+ series also stars Seo Hyun-woo, Jo Han-sun, Park Ji-bin, Geum Hae-na, Lee Tae-young and others and is expected to have 8 episodes. Two episodes will be released every week, and the series will stream from January 17 to February 07, 2024.
Well-known Korean actor Lee Dong-wook was last seen in the 2023 sequel series Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938, while Kim Hye-jun was last seen in 2022’s Connect and 2021’s Inspector Koo.
The series follows college student Jeong Ji-an, who, after becoming an orphan, is taken in by her uncle as a child. However, after her uncle’s sudden and mysterious death, she suddenly becomes a target of assassins all hell-bent on killing her. Now, vising the childhood home that she shared with her uncle, she must make use of the survival training that her uncle made her go through to stay alive long enough to find out the truth behind the mysterious shopping mall that her uncle ran and whether that has anything to do with the misfortune that she and her family have gone through.

With only two episodes remaining, Jeong Ji-an, Pasin, Min-hye and Brother have to face off against Bane, Seong-jo and “The Twins” in one last final battle for murthehelp. However, it’s going to be a fight to death and a difficult one at that. Has Jin-man planned for this scenario beforehand and prepared Ji-an for everything that she will require? What will Ji-an do with murthehelp if she can survive? Will she be able to lead a normal life or take over her uncle’s legacy?

In episode 5, Ji-an overcomes Jeong-min and rips his ear off after hurting his ego and riling him up. Unfortunately, before that, she gets to see how he lured his uncle to kill himself by using a fake voice recording of her begging for her uncle’s help. After tying him up and beating him to a pulp, Ji-an finds the manual and realises that she has the opportunity to leave all of this behind and start a new life away from all of this.
However, she chooses to stay behind and fight beside Min-hye and Brother. Unfortunately, they are overpowered by the mercenaries who refuse to stop at anything and just when all hope seems lost, Pasin finally arrives to save Ji-an and they have an emotional reunion.
In episode 6, we see Jin-man’s occupation before he arrives back home. As a mercenary, he was a stickler for the rules but his team, consisting of Seong-jo, Bane, The Twins, and others, had other plans. Constantly clashing, Jin-man decides to not be grouped with Bane but on their last mission, they have a fight with each other that ends in Bane losing an eye and Jin-man stabbing him through the chest. Jin-man takes a leave of absence, thinking that he has gotten rid of his nemesis but that couldn’t have been further from the truth.
