In this season, we see Gokhan and his followers, including his family, taking shelter in an underground bunker while the police search for him all over the city. With raids being conducted to get information on his whereabouts, the charismatic godman is left in a tough position when his father-in-law starts to suspect his motivations and the truth behind Allah’s words to him. On the other hand, Merve, too, doubts his husband’s words and follows him out of the bunker, only to find him planning with Berk, Kubra’s founder.

Merve faces Gokhan and questions his involvement in something that is out of his control but Gokhan refuses to accept defeat and instead admonishes her for questioning him. On the other hand, Ali Riza is captured by the dissenters as he tries to leave the bunker and is held prisoner. Unsure about what is happening, Merve reaches out to Kara, who hatches a plan to capture Gokhan and end his tyranny. In the midst of this, Gulcan learns the truth from Merve and questions her brother as well, ending in her running away from the insanity with her partner Serhat.

Upon learning of this development, Gokhan goes out in search of Gulcan with Merve and Berk, only to realise that they are walking into a trap. Meanwhile, Kara raids the bunker and in a fit to escape, Gokhan’s mother and many others are shot and killed. Vowing revenge and realising that Merve has betrayed him, he kills her to prove his hold on his followers as well as to keep Kubra’s secret hidden.

However, this incident changes Gokhan, who is left increasingly isolated and filled with hatred. Berk tries to use his vulnerability to his advantage and further his mission but that doesn’t work out since Gokhan has plans of his own. Ali Cemal lets him know his sister’s location and, without letting Berk know, he sets out to meet her. However, that ends up being a trap and he is apprehended by the police. Elsewhere, Deniz, having had enough of Berk’s tyranny, goes to the police and tells them about Kubra. At Datakraft, Berk is worried sick about not being able to trace Gokhan and sets out to the bunker to find his whereabouts and is swiftly apprehended by the people he indoctrinated until he proves to them that he knows Gokhan.

Kara tries to make Gokhan and his followers speak and uses different methods to break them. Although they don’t learn much, they do get to know that Gokhan has murdered Merve. At the bunker, the police raid the premises thanks to Deniz but a handful of followers and Berk are able to escape. In that moment Gulcan, who was left worrying for his brother, arrives at the bunker but is asked to go to a nearby playground to wait for Serhat. Berk finds her there and chases her, blaming her for all his troubles, and she falls and dies after hitting her head on rocks. However, Berk doesn’t inform anyone and uses her phone to get in touch with Kubra.

Meanwhile, the leftover followers break Gokhan and the others out of the police cars and the loneliness and the weight of his crimes get to Gokhan, who is now unable to find his sister. Berk tries to threaten everyone to get Kubra working again and start the “war” but Gokhan refuses to comply without meeting his sister. As Serhat and others find Gulcun’s dead body, Selim tells Gokhan that Berk killed his sister. Distraught, he sees the truth with his own eyes and eventually comes back in the midst of Berk having a meltdown. Gokhan, having had enough, shoots and kills him in front of everyone.

Heartbroken and directionless, he live streams one last time to let everyone know the truth and that he was a fraud all along, which breaks the dissenters apart. Having lost everyone who mattered to him, he eventually goes to the waterbody where he killed Merve and reminisces about her and Kara eventually meets him as well. He laments about every wrong decision that he has taken until then and is about to shoot himself when the other officers open fire, fearing that he is about to shoot them. Kara is left heartbroken at the loss of a life who has been brainwashed without even knowing it.

In the last scene, we see Adem as he meaningfully acknowledges someone else and elsewhere, some unknown person gets Kubra’s fated text.
