Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 8 Preview: Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 6 is highly anticipated among the anime community. Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 (呪術廻戦 or Sorcery Fight) is directed by Sunghoo Park and is animated under MAPPA Studio. With Sayaka Koiso and Tadashi Hiramatsu designing the characters, Yoshimasa Terui is the sole composer of the series. Tatsuya Kitani performed the opening theme, Where Our Blue Is (青のすみか), while Soushi Sakiyama performed the ending theme, Light (燈).

The anime is scheduled for two cours, the first five episodes will adapt the manga’s Hidden Inventory arc, and the eighteen other episodes will showcase the Sibuya arc. Licensed under Crunchyroll, the episodes will be available with English subtitles, and the dubbed version will be released later on.

Based on the manga series of the same name by Gege Akutami, the story follows high school student Yuji Itadori as he joins a secret organization of Jujutsu Sorcerers in order to kill a powerful Curse named Ryomen Sukuna, of whom Yuji becomes the host. However, the new season will consist of various aspects of the story which the audience has been wondering about. Each episode has a runtime of 20-25 minutes.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Plot

The first few episodes of the new season focus on Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto’s past lives, where they grew up together in Jujutsu High. Introducing the arc’s main villain Toji Fushiguro who is known as the ‘Sorcerer Killer’ who is after Riko, the Star Plasma Vessel. The main mission of the sorcerers is to keep her safe from any harm until she merges with Tengen.

In the previous episode, Mechamaru and Mahito get into an intense battle with each other. Mechamaru wanted to escape and let everyone know about Mahito’s plans to take over Shibuya. However, Mahito got help from Geto, through which he could easily take over Mechamaru. Alas he was defeated during the battle, and he died on the spot. He shows regret for not getting to meet Miwa for one last time.

Right after the fight, the scene shifts to Shibuya, where civilians are trapped. The sorcerers try to figure out what was the cause. Just then Gojo appears from within the walls to check out the ongoing situation.
