The trailer for Never Have I Ever Season 4 has finally dropped, and we cannot keep calm! Created and written alongside Lang Fisher, Ben Steiner, and Aaron Geary, the series is returning for the final run on Netflix. Maitreyi Ramakrishnan will be reprising her character as Devi in the lead role for the upcoming instalment.
The teen romantic-comedy-drama follows a Hindu South Asian girl trying to adapt to the American lifestyle while still maintaining her roots. Alongside Maitreyi, the series will feature Poorna Jagannathan, Richa Moorjani, Darren Barnet, Jaren Lewison, John McEnroe, Ramona Young, Lee Rodriguez and more.
The trailer opens with Devi and Ben “doing the deed”, but the relationship still remains complicated. However, after finally achieving a major milestone in her high school life, she is ready to work towards her dream of going to Princeton. As she starts planning, she is yet again distracted by certain events in her life. After she sees Ben with another girl, she grows furious and lashes out at him, but soon after, Paxton arrives in her life yet again.
Apart from Ben and Paxton, another traditionally “hot guy” enters her life which leaves her flabbergasted all over again. But some things never change as her friends remain as a constant support in her life, including her loving yet strict mother and beautiful elder sister. Even though she is having a great time, she is afraid of the big change arriving and steps out of her cacoon.
Self-doubt starts to rise, and she questions her skills and abilities to survive in the outside world. And as always, her mother arrives to rescue and reassure her that she is more than capable enough to manage the intricacies of college life and the adult world. Nevertheless, she continues to enjoy her high school life for the last time and continues to make mistakes but, most importantly, live her life. The season with filled with more drama and hilarious moments that have risen the expectations high among the audience. Will the final season be able to deliver for one last time?
