Korean Drama actor Song Joong-ki recently took to his official fan cafe to share the celebratory news with his fans. In the letter, he mentions how grateful he is to be with his partner Katy Louise Saunders. Additionally, he praises her in the letter deeming her ‘sensible and amazing to the point that I revere her.’ He has also expressed that he is excited to begin this journey together as a married couple tying the knot together.
In addition, the actor also shares the news of their pregnancy, noting how they wished to begin a life together and are ‘sincerely thankful as a new life has come to us.’ Song Joong-ki’s agency had previously confirmed their relationship back in December when his agency shared the news, prioritising their privacy.
Fans have taken to social media, especially Twitter, to share their happiness and bittersweet goodbye to their dreams. Many have been sharing sad memes, while others share tweets in all caps congratulating the couple. Most people are surprised by the news that he is getting married and becoming a dad soon, something they didn’t expect to happen soon.

Other than the happy messages, fans have also taken to speculation and theorising about his relationship. Fortunately, other fans are calling out this behaviour and encouraging other people to respect his privacy.
Joong-ki was most recently seen in the Korean Drama Reborn Rich. Following an unknown employee who dies in a company, things start to change when he is reborn as the youngest son of the owner of the company. Chronicling his revenge on the family, it is a story filled with thrill and mystery. Based on the book The Youngest Son of a Conglomerate by San Gyun, the show stars Lee Sung-min as Jin Yang-chul and Shin Hyun-been as Seo Min-young, in the main character roles.
Meanwhile, Katy Louise Saunders has had a brief stint in films acting in Los Borgia (2006), Third Person (2013) and The Lizzie McGuire Movie (2003). She has since then not appeared in any popular films or television shows but was popular in Italy during the early 2010s, even winning a few awards in her country.
