Fauda Season 4 Ending Explained
Fauda Season 4 starts on a solid note and finds Doron (who went back to live in solitude on his farm, after the events of Season 3) returning on another mission after much convincing from Gabi. The vital asset Omar, who resides in Belgium, informs Gabi about his intention to get out of the loop and forces the latter to diffuse the situation.
Gabi embarks on the mission to meet Omar, along with the hyper-instinctive Doron. It is revealed that Omar is a part of Hezbollah. Eventually, some Israeli agents are killed and Gabi is kidnapped. This causes a special forces team led by Doron to go to Brussels to find Gabi. Moreover, they locate Gabi being held in an apartment complex in the city.
Gabi is brutally interrogated but eventually gives in to the pressure. And during the rescue mission, he is shot by a member of Hezbollah. Before the team can save him, Omar and his associates take Gabi out of the building and leave behind enough evidence to create an understanding of Gabi’s death. However, Omar actually takes Gabi to Lebanon and hands him over to the leaders of Hezbollah. Even though Gabi’s own family believes him to be dead, Doron refuses to give up hope.
As Omar makes arrangements for his plans overseas, his cousin Adel Tawalbe is handling operations at a refugee camp. Moreover, using information obtained from Gabi, Adel’s associates have been targeting Israeli security officials, including Doron and his teammates. However, Doron kills the attacker sent to eliminate him, while the second one is caught alive. Omar’s sister, Maya, who is a respected police officer in Israel and married to another officer who is Jewish, also becomes involved as the situation with Omar escalates.
Eventually, Doron is successful in taking leverage over Oman. And rescues Gabi in the process, who in turn kills Omar to seek his revenge. The final battle finds Doron’s teammate injured in a gruesome aftermath, while the specialist survives the chaos with full-throttle action. Thereby, forming possibilities of another continuation.

Kept me on my seat’s edge, cramming it all in till
4 am. The end is terrible and heartbreaking.
Can I just note – I never saw so many ugly people in one show. It wasn’t pleasant to look at their faces for hours. I guess a little too realistic.

Surprised at your depiction of ugly people. Stereotypical middle eastern look. Plus, the women are all pretty.
Only Hollywood stars are almost always good-looking. Real people aren’t. Even Fauda has ots share of good looking-looking actors and actresses. Shave off the beards of the crew and you’ll see. Omar is handsome. Most of the younger actresses are good-looking including the Arab ones., such as Amal and Dr. Shirley.
So were they all dead at the end except for Doron? I guess I’m just hoping they aren’t ☹️
Depends on writers but they have been teasing us with Steve. Eli and Sagi’s statuses in their relationships. My bet is on Sagi. Nuria will raise their baby.
I also got the impression that the whole team was wiped out, especially since Doron, seriously ig not fatally wounded, recites the Shema, the Hebrew prayer recited by those about to die, while stretching out his arms to his fallen comrades, all lying around him.
He also recites , in Arabic, a similar prayer for all the Muslim Palestinians killed in that final encounter.

Hopeless indeed. Cousins killing each other relentlessly. It breaks my heart. But it’s life. The Israelis need to do what they have to protect their peoples and the Palestinians feel frustrated and get radicalized. Rinse, repeat.
