Velma Episode 3 and 4 are now out! Charlie Grandy develops the show with Mindy Kaling who plays the central character as well as the executive producer. Charlie Grandy, Howard Klein and Sam Register also serve as the executive producers. It is produced by Kaling International, 3 Arts Entertainment and Warner Bros. Animation and distributed by Warner Bros. Television Distribution.
We have Mindy Kaling as Velma Dinkley, Sam Richardson as Shaggy, Constance Wu as Daphne and Glenn Howerton as Fred Jones. Alongside them we have Russell Peters as Aman Dinkley, Melissa Fumero as Sophie, Sarayu Blue as Diya Dinkley, Jane Lynch as Donna Blake, Wanda Sykes as Linda Blake, Cherry Jones as Victoria Jones, Frank Welker as William Jones, Nicole Byer as Blythe Rogers, Gary Cole as Lamont Rogers, Stephen Root as Sheriff Cogburn, Fortune Feimster as Olive, Yvonne Orji as Gigi, Ming-Na Wen as Carroll, Shay Mitchell as Brenda, Debby Ryan as Krista, Karl-Anthony Towns as Jacques Beau and others.
The third and fourth episodes did not have anything substantial to add to the plot apart from showing that Fred is not the killer (duh!) and Velma can possibly either be bisexual or pansexual as she likes both Daphne and Fred. However, the incompetency of the latest episodes has only angered the viewers and OG fans of the show who are clearly done with it after this.

One of the tweets about the show read: “In the show shaggy is so desperate to get with Velma he’s willing to sell his organ for money. Fred is basically an actual man child that can even cut his own food even though he’s a teenager not a toddler. And Daphne is basically the mean pretty girl stereotype.” We thoroughly agree, I would say. Another viewer wrote, “After that “Velma” shit I’m too nervous to watch any reboots or old continuations.” Let us check out some more reactions on the show down below!
