On November 19th, South Korean boy band WayV released the music video for High Five, which is a pre-release track of their upcoming album. The group’s upcoming sixth mini album Frequency is set to release soon with a title track of the same name; meanwhile, they have pre-released this song from the album and we are already loving the vibe. With hyping hip-hop beats and a track you could head bang on, this song is uplifting and easy to get hooked on.
Frequency is the band’s upcoming mini album which is set to release on November 25th, 2024, with the title track of the same name. The album consists of six tracks including- Frequency in two versions, High Five, Twist, Filthy Rich, and Call Me. While the mini album is highly anticipated among fans, they are also sad that the member Winwin will not be participating in this comeback due to his filming schedule in China.

The video opens up with the members dressed as archaeologists at a sight looking for a hidden treasure or secrets hidden in the depths of the earth. However, when they do find a hand-like statue, they are struck by the mystery hidden within it and are looking for ways to decode the mystery hidden within it. While many elements of a hand ready to give you a high five are present in creative ways, you can easily detect them as they are easy to find.
This is a dance track and the band doesn’t hold back on showing this as they begin dancing right from the beginning. The dance routine is smooth yet energetic, which matches the overall feel of the song. The members move in sync and make you want to get up to the beats with the energy that they create throughout the song. It is simply smooth and undeniably addictive to viewers who are struck by the song.
