The Sex Lives of College Girls Season 2: The Short King & Will You Be My Girlfriend?

Set against the Christmas-time background, The Sex Lives of College Girls Season 2 Episodes 3 and 4 move forward with the already set theme of this season in the pilot episodes regarding the troubles our girls are facing.

With the passage of time, it is getting difficult for Kimberely to develop a way to sustain herself financially to continue in Essex. As we saw in the last episode, Kimberely’s professor was ready to cosign for her until she backed out at that last moment. And, as Kimberely decided to inform her mother, she got to know how her parents have been struggling, especially after the surgery that Biscuit went through that made things tight.

However, Kimberely finally finds a viable option to financially sustain her in Essex right outside the student loan office- selling her eggs. Throughout the fourth and fifth episodes, Kimberely takes her time evaluating the matter and contemplating her last financial restoration.

The Sex Lives of College Girls Season 2 continues to keep Bela on the adrenaline rush of men, sex and parties but, the last episode almost convinced us that there might be a potential change now that she is hooking up with Eric. The duo go through some major ups and downs in the episodes with a power game on show and Bela continuing her quest to explore her sexual ways.

Another person who hasn’t taken a step back from exploring her sex life is, hands-down, Leighton, which is a present surprise as the New York City chick seems to be turning more and more into the f-boy of the group with the neverending list of women she is hooking up with. But, Whitney has decided to be a one-man girl along with proving herself that she is capable of something by taking up the class which has the lowest pass rate on campus! But, one statement from Canaan and one move from her kind of seals the deal for them, which might not be the most ideal one.

The Sex Lives of College Girls Season 2 Episode 3 and 4: Final Thoughts

Overall, The Sex Lives of College Girls Season 2 continues to be fun. However, unlike the first two episodes, episodes three and four give us a more detailed look into the lives of each of our characters. Kimberely thoroughly shines with Whitney being the next in line. At some point, Bela’s feminist energy seems to be drained with only sex drive and at other points, her comedy is what restores her back to the graces, so it is a tricky affair.

As for Leighton, she seems the least supportive and involved among all. Especially after coming out, it felt like we will see a deeper side to Leighton’s personality but, she is surely the woman representation of a cis-het fuck boy. It feels like her sexual explorations are coming at the cost of others and she is being very uptight about it. Meanwhile, the shining gem this season is Jackson and we cannot wait to see what more there is to this character than good looks and a charming attitude.
