The Kardashians Season 2 Episode 9 Review

As the title of the episode states, The Kardashians Season 2 Episode 9 is completely dedicated to the Kardashians sisters and they’re venturing together on the MET Gala red carpet for the first time. So naturally, the episode is all about the sisters dressing up, preparing and being nervous as well as excited for the event.

The episode starts with Kim getting ready for her iconic Marilyn Monroe get-up with her hair getting bleached and her entire room looking like a Marilyn Monroe shrine. Kim gets so possessive about the place decorated by Ripley’s with everything Marilyn Monroe that she even asks people in the room to not only touch it but, even take sneeze or cough in the other room if required.

We head to Kylie getting ready next who is paying a tribute to Off White’s founder, Virgil Abloh. Kris Jenner getting ready is a blast with the momager taking the event rather casually and getting excited to see all her daughters walk the pristine carpet and possibly have a glass of Martini. Khloe’s prep session for her first MET Gala appearance is all filled with jittery nerves as the socialite gets ready to put on a glittery outfit.

Although we do not sit through Kendall Jenner’s get-ready-for-MET routine, we do get to see her in her car en route to the event when a panic attack just takes over her. The same goes for Kourtney, who arrives at the event with her soon-to-be husband, Travis Barker. But, the highlight of the show has to be seeing Pete Davidson in the picture with Kim Kardashian for the first time in this episode and getting a sneak into their private relationship which no longer exists.

The sisters along with Kris Jenner walk the red carpet with all the glamour and lights flashing and call it a day.

The Kardashians Season 2 Episode 9 Ending Explained

The Kardashians Season 2 Episode 9 ends with the Kar-Jenner clan calling it a night, sitting together and checking off their checklist, starting from MET Gala to the Blac Chyna Verdict (a case which they inevitably win). Khloe, Kim and Kris just sit on the floor, eating pizza and chips and talking it all out.

But, even as The Kardashians Season 2 Episode 9 comes to an end, Kim does not miss out on her star moment as she puts on yet another Marilyn Monroe dress- the one the actress wore to the Golden Globes, along with the award and poses for it. With Pete Davidson making his final appearance in the show, the episode comes to an end.

The Kardashians Season 2 Episode 9: Final Verdict

The Kardashians Season 2 Episode 9 was all about the Kardashians and their image. It looked like a long extended Instagram reel that would become your guilty pleasure and, by far, the most real episode evaluating it in terms of how we see public figures.
