PhoneBhoot Trailer has been finally released. It is an upcoming horror comedy film directed by Gurmeet Singh and the screenplay is written by Ravi Shankaran, along with Jasvinder Singh Bath. The film is produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under the banner of Excel Entertainment. Starring Katrina Kaif, Ishaan Khattar, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Jackie Shroff in the lead roles.
The film revolves around a shop, where every kind of problem involving ghosts is solved, or in other words, a ghost-busting service. In the released trailer, we get to know that the film will be full of comedy with some spooky horror. The two friends get the extraordinary power of seeing the ghosts and then on start the rollercoaster ride with their encounter with a sassy ghost, played by Katrina Kaif.
The two-minute and forty-nine seconds long trailer starts off with a disclaimer that says, this story is imaginary where you’ll see many evil powers in it. But don’t be frightened by this movie because it bears no connection to reality, and the poster of the film Haqeeqat is displayed on our screens.

It is a story of two clueless friends, with their unique antics who get the supernatural power or should we say vision. But these friends fail to identify the real ghost, who comes to become their friend or business partner perhaps. The trio start a phone service where the people infested with spirits can call them with their issues. Where they can Press 1 for ghosts and spirits and Press 2 for the Witch.
But can a story be complete without a villain? That’s where Jackie Shroff comes in as Aatmaram. He is apparently not happy with their ghost-freeing business. So what will be their fate when they come face to face with him? The trailer has some obvious comedy elements with reference to the actors’ previous works and the alien calling tune from Koi Mil Gaya.
This will be Katrina Kaif’s third venture with Excel Entertainment after Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and Baar Baar Dekho. It will also be the first time, that we will be seeing the pairing of these three lead actors working together. Recently, they made an appearance on the Koffee With Karan Season 7 episode and showed off very quirky and fun chemistry between the cast.
