HIT The First Case, starring Rajkummar Rao, Sanya Malhotra and others, was released in theatres on Friday. Directed by Sailesh Kolanu, the whodunnit thriller is a Hindi remake of a Telugu movie of the same name. However, for the Hindi movie, Kolanu has changed the twist in the end. If you have watched the movie and are still confused about who is the killer, we will explain it to you.

HIT The First Case Movie: Who’s the Killer?

The main story starts when a young girl named Preeti gets kidnapped on the Jaipur highway. Vikram (Rajkummar) takes over the case’s investigation when his girlfriend Neha (Sanya Malhotra) gets kidnapped. He finds many clues that make everyone in Preeti’s life suspicious of her kidnapping and murder.

We learn that Preeti was adopted from an orphanage. Sapna, the wife of Vikram’s colleague Rohit used to live in the same orphanage. Sapna was in love with Preeti but could never tell her as Preeti got adopted. Years later, Sapna meets Preeti at a restaurant. They start talking, and Sapna again starts falling in love with Preeti.

Rohit also plants fake evidence to distract Vikram. But Vikram always digs up the truth, no matter what. Neha, who works in the forensic department, gets closer to finding a clue about Preeti’s case. Hence, Rohit and Sapna kidnap Neha. Thankfully, Neha is alive and is rescued.

So Preeti’s killer is Sapna.

HIT: The First Case: What Happens to Vikram in the End?

Neha and Vikram read Rohit’s diary after his funeral. Vikram has a traumatic past, and we have seen flashbacks throughout the movie. Neha asks Vikram about his past. But Vikram again says that he will tell her some other day. The two head towards their car to leave from there. When Vikram is about to get into his car, someone shoots at him. The bullet doesn’t harm Vikram. But we don’t know if it has hit Neha or not.

When the unknown shooter shoots at Vikram, Neha is inside the car. He dodges the bullet. So does it mean Neha gets killed? We will find it out in HIT The Second Case.
