On November 5th, South Korean band Super Junior member Yesung released his sixth mini-album It’s Complicated along with a music video of the title track of the same name. With beautiful lyrics filled with hope and a smooth video, this is a song that will hold your heart as you vibe to the song. The song simply states how one can work their way through endless hurdles or complications to find one’s destiny. While unsure of where fate is to lead them if worked together, even the complicated feelings will wither and turn into a magical love story that just needs some work. The song simply talks about the hope that one keeps in their relationship and is ready to get over anything that feels complicated, while patiently moving towards a happy ending.
While the story in the music video slowly moves to a happier ending, the beats follow every part of the video just as beautifully. With this, we are moving on to the music that is creating another magic in itself. The beats are simply addictive and joyful, which brings a sense of happiness and hope to the listener. This is definitely a happy song and it is bringing a ray of sunshine into our lives with a simple story that is filled with complicated feelings.
