Wingwomen Ending Explained
Why did Alex and Carole want to leave their crime-filled life behind?

Carole unexpectedly finds out that she is pregnant at the start of the film and is left ecstatic because she was previously under the impression that she would never be able to have kids. The news leaves her doubtful about whether or not she would be able to raise a child in her environment, and she even dabbles on the thought of abortion. However, after some thought, she decides to leave her job and have the baby because she and Alex also wanted some peace and quiet in their lives and a chance to live away from dangerous situations.
Who is Sam?

Sam is a third member of the team whom Carole decided to hire because Alex caused a horrible accident in one of their previous jobs. Although Alex assures her partner that that was a one-time incident, Carole decides to go ahead and get a professional for the job in order to avoid dying a fiery death.
What was the last heist?
The last heist that Godmother gave Carole was to steal a painting. Although the team plans everything out thoroughly, it is hilariously revealed later that Abner’s “genius” plan wasn’t all that good, and they end up having more guests than they had previously thought of!
Why did Alex want to kill the hitmen in Italy in between their heist?

The hitment, hired by Godmother, killed Alex’s pet rabbit while they were hiding from Godmother. When she finally learns about their true identity from Clarence, Alex decides to take her revenge, and Sam and Carole follow their friend to embark on a mission of passion!
Why was Marianne obsessed with Carole?

Marianne and Carole go a long way back in their line of business, and it is revealed throughout the film that she refuses to let her leave. It’s not spelt out exclusively, but apart from the fact that Carole was really good at her job, Marianne was probably also very controlling about her and was not even happy with her partnership with Alex. It’s clear that she is jealous and unhappy with how happy the two women are together, and even mentions that they should do these heists and everything together, with Alex and Sam making up a new team.
What happened to Carole in the end? How did she survive?

In the scene wherein the team is having a picnic together, Carole is seen having a conversation with someone on the phone about sending a team to do something behind Godmother’s back. When she surfaces after 3 years, to Alex’s surprise, it is revealed that she never died and even had Raoule. It’s not spelt out, but it is quite clear that Carole had the plan in place for extraction from the building, realising that getting out after murdering Marianne would be extremely difficult. And it worked in her favour because, as it is revealed, she was able to live her life with her child peacefully and now with her friends as well without anyone coming to find her.
