Weak Hero Class 2 Ending Explained
The season starts with Si-eun starting his new year at Eunjang High School quietly and without ruffling any feathers. However, feathers always seem to get attracted to him as he can’t help but feel bad for classmate Seo Jun-tae, a seemingly weak boy getting mercilessly bullied in front of him. At first, he decides to ignore it and control his anger at seeing the injustice in front of him. Jun-tae senses that only Si-eun can help him out and pleads with him to teach him how to fight, but Si-eun refuses to get involved. However, he does tell him to do something good for good to happen to him, after Jun-tae steals his phone for Hyo-man.
Jun-tae takes this to heart and decides to give back all the phones that he has stolen, immediately becoming Hyo-man’s target as a result. As he gets mercilessly beaten up, Si-eun steps in and stops him. As a scuffle ensues, school basketball player Hyeon-tak gets involved and helps the two boys escape, although Si-eun remains cold to him. As a friendship brews between him and Jun-tae, Hyo-man comes up with a plan to create a misunderstanding between Si-eun and Hyeon-tak, and the two have a dangerous fight. Thankfully, Hyo-man gives away his plans before things get messier and brings his own men in to beat the two boys. Right then, Hu-min arrives at the spot to save the two, and his presence makes everyone take pause.

Saved at last, the four boys become cordial with one another, especially when Hu-min, or Baku, joins classes again. However, the good times are about to come to an end because crime kingpin Baek-jin desperately wants control over Eunjang but isn’t able to take it because of Baku. In the midst of this, Geum Seong-je, one of the members of the Union, takes an interest in the new kid in Eunjang and pays him a visit. Things start to get tense again, although they reach a peak when Seong-je’s boys kidnap a defenceless Jun-tae and beat him up, and Si-eun decides to intervene to save him.
A deadly fight breaks out once again, which results in Seong-je ending up at the police station. Baek-jin’s boss, Han Jeong-mi, gives him an ultimatum to keep things under control with his team, resulting in Seong-je and Baek-jin having a falling out. Baek-jin continues to try and get Eunjang from Baku’s control as well as break his will by targeting his friends and his father’s business. As the boys keep fighting, Baku decides to join the Union after becoming irate over his father getting arrested on purpose. His friends try to help him through this situation, but are unable to find him as he continues to get his hands dirty and hold up his end of the bargain.

Despite doing it to keep the peace, Hu-min, however, finds it difficult to do the illegal things that Baek-jin forces him to do. Thus, when he sees that his friends are yet again under threat, this time after breaking into one of Baek-jin’s illegal hideouts in search of him, Hu-min intervenes and officially breaks things off with Baek-jin. Unfortunately, in the midst of this, Si-eun gets into an accident that lands him in the hospital.
With a huge gap in the group, Hu-min takes matters into his own hands and decides to call Baek-jin for a fight over power – if Baek-jin loses, he will have to give up on the Union. As D-Day comes closer, the gang is left worried for Si-eun, who is in a coma. His mother mentions that he will have to find the will to wake up on his own, which he eventually does. With their gang complete, it’s time to fight. Hu-min and Si-eun at first try to create a break in the Union by spreading rumours using Hyo-man. As the fake news spreads like wildfire, it causes a rift.

When the boys converge at the battleground, it’s an all-out battle between two factions. Meanwhile, Si-eun tries to get Seong-je to give him proof of Baek-jin’s misdeeds, but he tricks him and causes him to pass out. Jun-tae rushes over to get him back, and after a small scuffle, Si-eun goes back to the scene of the action. By then, Baek-jin has beaten Hu-min senseless, but it all turns out to be a ploy between the two. As Baek-jin gets preoccupied with fighting Si-eun, he completely misses Hu-min getting up from behind and attacking him. It becomes too much for him, and he eventually falls to the ground, ending his reign of terror.
In the aftermath, Baek-jin completely disappears without a trace, leaving everyone confused, although the boys continue their close friendship. In the last scene, Si-eun gets a phone call, which makes the four of them rush back to the hospital — Su-ho has finally awoken from his coma, and he warmly greets an emotional Si-eun.
Weak Hero Class 3: Is it Happening?
The series ends with the potential for a third season, and Weak Hero Class Season 3 might just be a possibility. Although there is no official word from Netflix yet, the ending, with Si-eun finally reuniting with Su-ho and his new friends meeting him for the first time, seems like a good way to showcase a new friendship. We will just have to wait and watch!
