There is a new festival coming to the land of animated content and cinema, announced back in February of this year. Now, they have released the WATERBOMB Japan 2023 lineup, letting all the attendees know the different acts coming to their nearest cities. According to the official sources, the festival will be held in three cities across the country, including Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka. This festival has also been touring Korea, with a few cities done and a few cities still left.
The Seoul tour is over, and now the roster will be moving to Incheon (July 15, 2023), Daegu (July 22, 2023), Busan (July 29, 2023), Daejeon (August 5, 2023), Suwon (August 12, 2023), Sokcho (August 19, 2023) and Jeju (August 26, 2023). Some of the headliners in Seoul included Jessi, BTOB, BLACKSWAN and STAYC. The tour in that city lasted three days, starting on June 23 and ending on June 25, 2023. The WATERBOMB Japan 2023 festival has been simmering and in the works since then. To see the lineup, check below.
Over the next three cities, the MC Kangnam, Wooxi and B△ZZ from BZMR will be leading the events. Since this is a water fight, Osaka will have two teams, Blue and Yellow. While Tokyo will have a Blue and a Red team. Going to Nagoya, there will be a Red and Orange team. All of these teams have been decided with team members allocated, all of which have been extrapolated on their official Twitter handle.
