Walking on Thin Ice Episode 11 Recap

The episode opens right after last week, as Eun-soo runs Tae-gu over to save Kyeong’s life. Of course, she doesn’t complete the job, and Tae-gu ends up in the hospital. At least they took his phone, the money and the drugs from his car before saving his life. Surprisingly, though, Kyeong arrives at the police station to make a statement, and Tae-gu rushes there to talk to him. As it turns out, Kyeong wanted to kill Tae-gu 2 days ago, but Eun-soo stopped him from committing a grave sin.

Anyway, Kyeong is in the police station right now because he wants to confess to everything that he has done till then, including how Tae-gu is connected and how he killed Dong-hyun! As it turns out, Eun-soo and Kyeong concocted this plan knowing fully well that it would leave Tae-gu exposed, as he is involved in this whole issue as much as the two of them.

With mounting pressures, things get more complicated with Tae-gu at work as he forces Eun-young to drop Su-ah’s case, leaving Bo-hee suspicious. Elsewhere, going through huge withdrawals, Hwi-rim learns everything about Kyeong and puts two and two together. Meanwhile, Gyeong-do continues his investigation after Kyeong gave him an entire stash of evidence against Tae-gu. He goes to Tae-gu’s house on false pretexts and starts going through his stuff to find all the money inside his walls!

Gyeong-do immediately reports Tae-gu by nailing him with his location history – something that incriminates him now incriminates Tae-gu as well. However, Tae-gu continues to feign ignorance, even telling Gyeong-do that if he broke into his house, the evidence that he found would be illegal. However, Gyeong-do has a solid reason and alibi, proving that he entered his home completely legally and with permission. It leaves Tae-gu absolutely incensed. Now becoming the subject of the investigation, Tae-gu is immediately transferred.

Having been caught, Hwi-rim pays a visit to Hyuk, who is taken aback by his presence. He even goes as far as to tell on Kyeong to the police, while they dismantle his entire home and delete every evidence against him. Meanwhile, elsewhere, Tae-gu kills everyone in the car transporting him and makes a run for it, only seeking revenge, while Eun-soo asks Do-jin to make a run for it with Su-ah to Japan.

Of course, Do-jin refuses to leave, giving Tae-gu time to arrive at her house and attack them. She gives him the money and asks him to do what he wants with it, but he decides that killing them is fair after what she has taken from him.
