Voyager First Anniversary: MONSTA X’s Kihyun Celebrates Solo Debut Album Through Heartfelt Post

MONSTA X’s Kihyun is celebrating his first solo album, Voyager‘s first anniversary. The artist released his album on March 15, 2022, and officially debuted as a solo artist. Voyager served as the title track of the single album along with two b-side tracks: , (Comma) and Rain.

The singer-songwriter actively contributed to the lyrics and production of his album. Subsequently, the artist went on to release his extended play in the same year.

The first anniversary of the artist’s official solo debut is celebrated through social media posts from the group’s official pages. In a lengthy caption, it talks about the journey that the singer started 365 days ago. It also reminisces the moments of joy and excitement the solo debut brought. The caption also mentions that the singer will be making more music in the future and invites the fans to tag along in his journey.

Besides Voyager, the artist also mentions his mini-album Youth in the hashtags, which he released on October 24, 2022. With a title track of the same name, the record consisted of four b-side songs, namely, Bad Liar, Stardust, Where is Love and ‘Cause of you. Additionally, he participated in both the production and composition of the songs.

The artist’s fans are as ecstatic about the milestone and took to Twitter to celebrate the occasion. The hashtags of the post quickly started to trend and entered the top searches on the platform. Moreover, the fandom is looking back at the past moments and patiently anticipates more songs from the singer.

The singer-songwriter belongs to the popular K-pop boy band MONSTA X. The group was formed from Mnet’s survival show No.Mercy and along with six other trainees, made his official debut on May 14, 2015, with the EP Trespass under Starship Entertainment. Along with Kihyun, the band currently consists of six members: Shownu, Minhyuk, Hyungwon, Joohoney, and I.M. Wonho is a former member of the group who left in 2019.

Kihyun is engaged in various solo activities and is also working on many solo projects. Along with solo activities, he is also working on a group album, and it is expected that it will be released soon.
