Villainess Level 99 Episode 11 Review: In the last episode, we saw Yumiella helping Alicia to level up. Let us look at how this episode went below.
Villainess Level 99: I May Be the Hidden Boss but I’m Not the Demon Lord or Akuyaku Reijō Reberu 99: Watashi wa Ura Bosudesuga Maō de wa Arimasen (悪役令嬢レベル99 ~私は裏ボスですが魔王ではありません~) is a new anime series based on the Japanese light novel series with the same name written by Satori Tanabata with illustrations by Tea.

Directed by Minoru Yamaoka, the script of the show is written by Fumihiko Shimo and character designs are handled by Hitomi Kaiho and Lo Ho Kim.
Mayu Maeshima lends her voice to the opening theme song, Love or Hate?, while Fairouz Ai and Rina Hidaka, embodying their respective characters, perform the ending theme song titled Suki ga Rebechi (好きがレベチ, Love on a Different Level).
I have tried my best to keep the review as spoiler-free as possible, but there are certain elements that I had to mention to give proper feedback.

Villainess Level 99 Episode 11 Review and Recap: Yumiella Is Getting Assassinated

This episode was the best one in the entire series. Why? Well, there is a great twist towards the end, which I must spoil in this review so that the fans can finally celebrate the moment. Yumiella and Patrick finally kissed. Now that the cat is out of the bag, let’s move on to the other aspects of the episode.
This episode brought some very big and intense changes in Yumiella’s life. First of all, from the get-go, we see some people trying to assassinate our protagonist. Though none of them were successful for obvious reasons, it was still astonishing how frequent the attempts were. Not only that, but a very trusted person, who Yumiella thought was a well-wisher, betrayed Yumiella’s trust and tried to harm her as well.
That is when Yumiella looks into society and theorises why a majority of the people hate her. The reason is simple, it is her black hair. Not just her but every other person in the kingdom who has black hair gets mistreated and bullied because of something so simple.
This thing never bothered Yumiella because she was very nonchalant about whatever was happening to her. But when she saw someone else also facing the same misfortunes, she understood how important it is for her to step up. She has the power to influence others to have a good image of people with black hair, and hence, she must utilise her position to do something good. Perhaps this is why she finally makes a decision that completely changes her fate.
In this episode, we also see who is actually deserving of being in Yumiella’s life and who is not. Patrick, a friend, has understood our heroine more than her parents ever could. And this is why the success of their relationship is so important to not just them but the fans of this anime as well.

But it is not all romance in this episode, as we’re finally entering the phase where Yumiella will have to face off against the demon king. So you can expect great things from the next episode.
Verdict
As I have mentioned before, I love this episode because there were so many great elements here. We get to know many information and witness some really well-timed character development. Other than that, we also got a good conclusion, which makes us anticipate the next episode more than ever. So yes, if you are still bailing out on this series, you need to stop that and watch this soon.
