BIGBANG’s Taeyang and BTS’ Jimin are back for good, as they’ve come together for an epic collaboration with the upcoming single VIBE. Rumours of this joint project have been doing rounds for quite some time, which were then confirmed by the officials as the first teaser of the song hit YouTube on December 23, 2022. Today, another picture of the duo was posted on social media, which is already trending on Twitter along with the hashtags like “OMG WHAT”, “IT’S HAPPENING”, “JIMIN IS COMING” and more.
The highly anticipated release will mark the BIGBANG singer’s grand comeback after 6 years, while Jimin is also making his return to the musical side of the industry for the first time in six months. Quite a few solo projects of other BTS members have been on the rise and now it’s Park Jimin’s time to shine.
The BIGBANG songwriter had even let us catch a glimpse of the behind-the-scenes moments while working on the song in his studio, but it wasn’t certain at the time as to who his partner was for this track. Nevertheless, BTS Army catches on fast and had already buckled up for the ultimate ride dropping soon. Jimin’s solo album has also been teased on several occasions, and it stands tall as yet another event we can’t wait to witness.
After Jhope’s Jack In The Box, JIN’s The Astronaut and RM’s Indigo, in addition to SUGA’s collaboration with PSY for That That and Jungkook’s English track Left and Right with Charlie Puth, Jimin’s latest addition to their solo ventures outside the collective image of the septet is set to rock the fanbase.

The MV teaser of VIBE has prepared us beforehand for the upcoming banger of the year led by a rock soundscape. And, the recently released poster displays Jimin in an all-black avatar, complemented by an eye-catching vibrant red leather jacket, keeping it off one shoulder as always. Taeyang also sports a similar black outfit pertaining to the theme, which is taken to the next level by his slicked bak blonde hairdo.
