Fantasy horror fans, it is time for a new vampire world to unfold as Vampire Academy Episode 1 is en route! The 2022 series is based on the best-selling novels of the same name by Richelle Mead. Developed by Julie Plec and Marguerite MacIntyre, the series will serve as the second adaptation of the book series after the 2014 film of the same name starring Zoey Deutch and Lucy Fry that was ultimately a box-office bomb.
Vampire Academy will star Sisi Stringer as Rose Hathaway, Daniela Nieves as Lissa Dragomir, Kieron Moore as Dimitri Belikov and André Dae Kim as Christian Ozera in the prominent roles. The other cast members include J. August Richards as Victor Dashkov, Anita-Joy Uwajeh as Tatiana Vogel, Mia McKenna-Bruce as Mia Karp, Rhian Blundell as Meredith, Jonetta Kaiser as Sonya Karp and Andrew Liner as Mason Ashford.
The show will revolve around the journey of a Dhampir (creatures that result from the union between a vampire and a mortal human) guardian-in-training, Rose Hathway and her best friend, Moroi (vampire) Princess, Lissa Dragomir. We will witness the adventures and adversities our protagonists will face at St Vladimir’s Academy, which is a boarding training school for Moroi and Dhampir.

When Will Vampire Academy Episode 1 Release?
Vampire Academy Episode 1 is titled ‘Pilot’ and is set to arrive on Peacock on September 15, 2022. The episode is directed by Bille Woodruff and written by Marguerite MacIntyre and Julie Plec. The premiere will also include episode 2 (‘Earth. Air. Water. Fire.’ written by Linda Ge), episode 3 (‘Death Watch’ written by Morenike Balogun-Koch) and episode 4 (‘Benchmark’ written by Jason Coffey). After the four-episode premiere, the show will follow the pattern of releasing one episode on a weekly basis.
The first episode of Vampire Academy will pretty much start the way it does in the books as well as the movie with Lissa and Rose being discovered by the St. Vladimir Academy’s Dhampir guardians as they are in hiding after running away from the academy. They will be taken to the institute where both of them will face some unforeseen dangers as they discover some secrets that can put their lives in danger.
