Under the Banner of Heaven Episode 3 will arrive soon and, after the cliffhanger ending in the last episode, fans have been grabbing onto their seats to know what happens next. The true-crime drama miniseries is based on the nonfiction book of the same name by Jon Krakauer. The story is adapted into a screenplay for television by Dustin Lance Black and directed by David Mackenzie. The first two episodes of the series are over an hour long and, have Black and Mackenzie in their respective chairs.
The cast is headlined by Andrew Garfield as Detective Jeb Pyre along with Sam Worthington as Ron Lafferty, Daisy Edgar-Jones as Brenda Lafferty, Denise Gough as Dianna Lafferty, Wyatt Russell as Dan Lafferty, Billy Howle as Allen Lafferty, Chloe Pirrie as Matilda Lafferty, Seth Numrich as Robin Lafferty, Adelaide Clemens as Rebecca Pyre, Rory Culkin as Samuel Lafferty, Sandra Seacat as Josie Pyre and Gil Birmingham as Detective Bill Taba.
By the end of Under the Banner of Heaven Episode 2 we saw Robin Lafferty figuring out that his brother, Allen is also in the same police station after Allen wakes up screaming. Robin is yet not aware of Brenda’s murder as Jeb has been keeping him busy talking, trying to figure out what kind of a person he is as well as where Brenda fits in the family dynamics. Meanwhile, Bill was seen entering the woods after he saw a little girl roaming in the woods. The episode ended with Bill finding an abandoned house and, looking inside it only to have a gun shoot at him from the eye hole.

Under the Banner of Heaven Episode 3 Predictions
Well looking at the official preview for the series released by FX networks, we are Jeb calling the county for backup. So, it looks like Bill is in trouble. The video also shows flashbacks of Brenda spending time with the family as well as going to church. Snippets of domestic violence, blood atonement and, suggestions of multiple marriages to Allen all constitute the video giving us an overview of what is going to come next in the series.

Under the Banner of Heaven Episode 3 is scheduled to release on May 5, 2022, on Hulu and Disney+ Hotstar. The episode is titled ‘Surrender’ and is directed by Courtney Hunt and written by Dustin Lance Black & Emer Gillespie.
