Uncharted: New IMAX Poster Shows Tom Holland Hanging Around the Globe

The Uncharted IMAX Poster is out now with Tom Holland hanging in trouble, it seems. This upcoming film is an action-adventure film that is directed by Ruben Fleischer. The screenplay by Rafe Lee Judkins, Art Marcum and Matt Holloway is based on Naughty Dog’s iconic video game series of the same name. The film features Tom Holland as Nathan Drake with Mark Wahlberg as his mentor Victor Sullivan. The other cast members include Sophia Ali, Tati Gabrielle and Antonio Banderas.

The film works as the prequel to the events of Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune from 2007, which was the first game in the series. It centres around a younger version of Nathan Drake and his partner/mentor Victor Sullivan, known mostly as Sully. We see the duo go up against a rich and ruthless treasure hunter and his bunch of mercenaries for our central characters to claim the lost fortune, which is the gold from the voyages of Magellan. With this serving as the main purpose of the mission, we also have Drake tracking clues to find his long-lost brother, Sam.

The theatrical release poster has already been out for some time and, it looks stunning and interesting paying all the right homages to the game it is inspired from. However, the new IMAX poster features only Tom Holland in it. We see Tom aka Drake hanging onto a luggage bag as he dangles in the air. Underneath surrounding him is an aqua blue compass-like globe. The places marked on the posters are Manhattan, Barcelona, Paris, Rome, Agra and Singapore, with a monument from each mentioned location making an appearance.
