On May 1st, 2025, the South Korean boy band TRENDZ Chameleon MV was released, marking a new era for the group as they make their comeback! With a title that fits the song perfectly, the song acts as the title track for the group’s fifth single album of the same name. The song shows the member’s charm as they bring their dynamic performance to their audience.

TRENDZ is a seven-member South Korean boy band that debuted on January 5th, 2022, under Interpark Music Plus, with their first mini album, Blue Set Chapter 1. Tracks. The group consists of members- Havit, Leon, Yoonwoo, Hankook, ra.L, Eunil, and Yechan. Chameleon is the group’s fifth single album and consists of tracks RPZ, Chameleon, and Ddoo Ddoo. The title track of the same name was released along with the rest of the album, while Ddoo Ddoo was pre-released on April 25th, 2025.

TRENDZ Chameleon MV Review

The K-pop group is certainly here to rise beyond their set styles and bring something new to their fans, as they not only bring about an intense choreography but also charm us with their striking visuals. The song in itself is energetic and worth vibing to, but things go to another level when the music video plays out. There is a youthful energy that is swinging in the music video that attracts the audience, while their colorful and bold outfits add to this energy.

The music video doesn’t go about showing exaggerated visuals, but is set against a white background while the members are seen dancing to their beats. With some props that pop up occasionally and filters that strike out the bold visuals of the music video, this song swings from exaggeration to simplicity. The song shows off the member’s individual charm while ensuring that their magic as a group doesn’t suffer one bit.

The contrast in the music video is just right and doesn’t feel overboard because of the way it has been set. The artistry of the group is certainly reaching a new level with this song, while captivating new audiences around the world to fall for the group’s magic. Meanwhile, the lyrics of the song may seem like a lot of words rhyming with “chameleon”, but when looked into properly, you can see the real magic of the words used as well.

The talent of this group is certainly flowing well throughout this song as they don’t just keep you hooked until the end, but also make sure that you don’t feel a moment’s boredom when listening to the song. This music video intrigues the audience to the group’s other projects and I too am ready to check out what more the group has in store.
