The 11th episode of the 2nd season of this much-loved series is finally here, and we saw the story unfold in new directions. So, how did this episode fare anyways? Find out below.

Tokyo Revengers Season 2 Episode 11 Overview

Still From Tokyo Revengers Season 2

When the first season ended, fans felt endless frustration because of the massive cliffhanger of the last episode that left many questions unanswered. This is why the hype around this anime is insane, and we are sure it will live up to it.

Director Hatsumi Kouichi, who also worked in anime like Darling in the FranXX, Deadman Wonderland, Hunter x Hunter, etc, will handle the direction for the series. Studio LIDENFILMS which handled the first season of this anime will be returning for this season. They have worked on Koi to Uso, Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches, Yofukashi no Uta, etc.

The opening song will be White Noise (ホワイトノイズ), performed by Official HIGE DANdism, and the ending theme will be Kizutsu kedo, Aishiteru. (傷つけど、愛してる。), performed by TUYU.

I have tried my best to keep the review as spoiler free as possible, but there are certain elements that I had to mention to give proper feedback.

Still From Tokyo Revengers Season 2

Another episode of Tokyo Revengers is here, and we are back again with a review of how this episode went. This episode starts with the meeting amongst the Toman members, where Mikey calls everyone. As this is right after the Christmas showdown incident, we already know what is going to get discussed here.

At first, Mikey and Draken announced how they got themselves involved with Black Dragons and how they were able to defeat their boss. Hakkai also presented himself in front of everyone and apologized for getting his gang involved in his personal strife. But the most important parts were when Mikey dropped two major announcements in this meeting.

The first one is that now Black Dragons will work under Toman, and not just that, but they will be under the direct command of Takemichi. And this was a decision not taken by Mikey but rather by Koko and Inupi themselves. Another essential revelation was when Mikey dismissed Kisaki in front of everyone for instigating the conflict during the Christmas showdown.

Kisaki becomes desperate as he never thought Mikey would take such a big step and tells him how Mikey needs him to make Toman better and bigger. But Mikey gives him no mind and kicks him out even though all the members of Valhalla and Moebius would then leave with him. Now Toman will go back to being a group of few people, a fact that does not bother Mikey at all.

The next part is notable as we see how close Mikey and Takemichi have become. This segment cements that Takemichi has a big place in Mikey’s heart, and it’s proven by the very special gift that Mikey prepares for Takemichi himself.

The gift is something that has a deep meaning in Mikey’s life, and it is also connected to his dead older brother, who was very similar to Takemichi. To know what happens next and whether Takemichi was able to change the future or not, you will have to see the episode yourself.

Verdict

This episode again ended on a cliffhanger, and from the ending, we know things will turn south in the next episode. The mystery is still intense in this one, and I’m dying to know what this future has in store for Takemichi and his friends. Watch this anime on Hulu.
