Through My Window Across the Sea Cast Pics and What’s Next for Them!

The sensual Spanish romantic film released on June 23, 2023, and while the audience may not have been bowled over by the sequel to the 2022 OG flick, the Through My Window Across the Sea cast members have surely caught their attention. With many old-timers reprising their main seats in the new instalment, they were also joined by some new comers who stirred up complications between the lead pair.

The movie’s ending may have taken a dark tragic turn, but there’s no doubt that the visual aesthetics of the picturesque getaway captured therein was not just limited to the summery locations, rather its the actors leading the show who offer more eye candy to the viewers and keep them coming back for more. Originally titled as A través del mar in Spanish, the 111 minutes-long movie fest has been directed by Marçal Forés, with its screenplay adaptation done by Eduard Sola.

Taking centerstage, Julio Pena as Ares and Clara Galle as Raquel spice up their onscreen chemistry, with Natalia Azahara and Guillermo Lasheras, Hugo Arbues, Eric Masip and Emilia Lazo by their side. Joining them for the first time, Andrea Chaparro, Ivan Lapadula and Carla Tous step in as newcomers to the lot this summer.

Through My Window Across the Sea Cast

1. Julio Pena (Ares)

Pena has led the charge as Ares Hidalgo in both the 2022 Through My Window film and its recent sequel. Netflix has already confirmed the third and final outing of the franchise, marking the end of Ares and Raquel’s love story. The title for the same has also been revealed to be Through My Window: Looking At You (A través de tu mirada). Although a release date hasn’t been sealed for the movie, the title announcement teaser video for the same has confirmed that it will premiere some time in 2024.

Other than the obvious threequel feature, since the movie literally revolves around his and Galle’s character, Pena will also be starring as part of the main cast in the December Netflix release of the Money Heist spin-off titled Berlin.

2. Clara Galle (Raquel)

Like Pena, we can’t have a third outing of the movie series without the girl who stole our and Ares’ heart. Clara will be seen opposite Julio in the upcoming 2024 final instalment, and finally settle the score with his character, coming clean about whether the two will end up together or not. She’s also been casted as Greta in the upcoming Spanish drama series Ni una más.

3. Natalia Azahara (Raquel’s best friend – Daniela)

With Natalia’s Daniela now the only best friend left by Raquel’s side, she’s bound to make an appearance in the third film too, especially since she’s essays the one character who knows how to spice things up. Her relationship Hugo Arbues’ Apolo wasn’t much dug into this time either, so we can count on the 2024 premiere to set things in stone for these two as well. Her name also been listed under the upcoming French horror mystery Luis Prieto directorial titled Estación Rocafort (now in the post-production phase).

4. Guillermo Lasheras (Raquel’s best friend – Yoshi)

Although, Guillermo’s character, the pink-haired, vivacious Yoshi stuck close to his best friend in Through My Window 2, he ultimately met with a crashing end that we still can’t come to terms with. Nevertheless, the same conclusion to his character arc blurs out his involvement in the forthcoming follow-up title. However, that doesn’t necessarily confirm that he’ll be sitting out the next movie. Characters who often play such significant roles, as Yoshi did in Raquel’s life, can always find their way back into the story through the means of flashbacks, dreams or visions. So, it all depends on how the writers will be approaching the legacy of Lasheras’ character, in turn determining his future in the cinematic franchise.

5. Eric Masip (Artemis Hidalgo)

Eric Masip, Julio Pena and Hugo Arbues play the Hidalgo brothers trio – Artemis, Ares and Apollo respectively.

Artemis came clean about his feelings for Claudia, and his father also caught a glimpse of the same at the very end of the second movie. So, it’s safe to say that he’s finally becoming the boyfriend she always deserved to have. Yet, more complication are but obvious to arise in the future when directly dealing with the class divide between both of their families, and so, a lot is still left to be resolved. The movie just can’t do without its Hidalgo brothers. Therefore, we can expect Eric to come back as the changing man, who’s learnt to accept a fulfilling love.

6. Emilia Lazo (Claudia)

Same goes for Emilia’s Claudia. Her story dynamic with Eric’s Artemis was far complicated and serious to indulge into that Raquel and Ares’ love scenario this time. Yet, the older pair didn’t get enough screen time to dissect all that was going on. Atleast now we have the third movie coming up, in which, we can hope to see more of Lazo and Masip.

7. Hugo Arbues (Apolo Hidalgo)

Arbues’ Apolo has been perturbed about where he stands with Daniela all summer. While, at the end, he was there by her side to offer consolation following Yoshi’s untimely death, there’s still a lot to figure out in terms of whether Daniela wants to keep their relationship open or exclusive. There’s a possibility that Yoshi’s demise may change her perspective on all things, and she might see how serious Apolo is about her. With all that still left on the table, Hugo is most likely to come back for Through My Window 3 too.

8. Andrea Chaparro (Vera)

9. Ivan Lapadula (Gregory)

10. Carla Tous (Anna)
