Thicker Than Water Ending Explained
From what we know after watching the thriller, Fara gets her dream job as a presenter after enough social media outrage over her unjustified dismissal. Moreover, right before the good news of her promotion, she also receives an interrogation visit from the police officers.
Fara, along with her sisters, gets to know about Selim’s shady involvement in a drug deal gone wrong. They tell him about their brother’s role in the deal and how he managed to escape the spot after hitting one of the cops. Moreover, this information comes as a surprise to Fara and the family, who had no idea about Selim’s illegal practices.
After a thorough round of investigation, the sisters leave the station and arrive altogether at Fara’s place. When she reveals Selim’s car inside her garage space, it makes everyone nervous and doubtful about the next step. Eventually, they decide to get rid of the evidence and burn the car alongside the protesting scene.

The twist in the story arrives when Fara meets with Selim again (under the disguise of a delivery boy), and gets to know about the drugs inside the car. Right after this conversation, Fara decides to take the matter into her own hand and help Selim to evade the wrath of the criminals. All this while balancing her professional life as a TV presenter.
As expected, the drug kin pin Oumar makes her life hell and pressurizes Fara to return the money along with some personal gains (through her media network). The whole situation turns south when Fara and her sisters face the repercussions of saving their brother.
Towards the end, the drug kin pin hijacks the entire newsroom and threatens to kill the anchor if they refuse to reload their gear van with the confiscated drugs. Fara, along with her sister accompanies the drug kingpin and his associates, only to confront each other in a face-off.
Fara and the sisters come out on the winning end, with the latter recounting the incident to another negotiating officer. Even though she keeps certain parts of the mystery to herself, Fara emerges with the upper hand (as Lina is shown to be in possession of the cash load.
