The Zone: Survival Mission Season 3 Episode 8 Review: A Finale Filled with Hunting and Hiding!

Yoo Jae-suk and Kwon Yu-ri are back in The Zone: Survival Mission Season 3, with new team members- Kim Dong-hyun and DEX. As they return to enter new realities and bring about more interesting scenarios, an entertaining and educative adventure awaits us all. The show brings new simulations and lessons to be learnt to ensure we are given more than just entertainment in this variety show.

“MC of the Nation” Yoo Jae-suk and Girls’ Generation Kwon Yu-ri are joined by “Stun Gun” Kim Dong-hyun and Single’s Inferno star DEX and are ready with an eight-episode-long adventure for us all.

The Zone: Survival Mission Season 3 Episode 8 Recap

Episode 8 continues the money hiding and finding adventure in the Hunter Zone as the representatives of mankind are warned that soon 12 hunters are going to enter the zone two at a time to find their money. The hunters soon begin to enter, starting with an investigator and an auditor, who are ready to find every envelope hidden in the building.

The members are seen running around trying to find each other’s envelopes while receiving one surprise after another as the hunters introduced are all from different fields, and some are even amusing. From a shaman to an architecture student, the show brings all kinds of people who are experts at finding hidden objects. However, the real surprise arrives when the show’s finance head steps into the game and begins looking for the envelopes as well.

Meanwhile, the members keep looking throughout the building for the envelopes, which sometimes gives them happiness and sometimes has them frustrated when a decoy sends them to the monitor room. Meanwhile, the hunters get eliminated every time they get their hands on a decoy, giving the members a wave of happiness every once in a while.

As the hunt and hide continues the members are called to toss the dice. The two members with the highest number tossed get to leave first while the other two need to wait in the monitor room for 15 minutes. Along with this, they get golden cards to select from, which contain surprises for them.

In the first round of tossing the dice, Jae-suk gets the highest number and leaves along with Yu-ri who gets the second highest number. He picks up a golden card and gets the chance to take 10% of whatever the Hunter bank has collected until now, earning him a good sum. With this, they hunt and hide resumes for the two as they get going to find as much money as they can.

Meanwhile, Dex and Dong-hyun observe the two from the monitor room and try to regain whatever money they have lost during their time in the room. Soon, it is time for them to get back to the game and they don’t waste much time in collecting as many envelopes as they can while hiding the same from the hunters and trying to mislead them.

Soon, it is time for another dice toss and once again, Jae-suk and Yu-ri get to go out first while Dex and Dong-hyun stay back. This time these two pick a golden card and Dong-hyun gets the chance to take half of any one hunter’s collected money. Soon, after the 15-minute time passes, Dong-hyun rushes to the Hunter bank and takes half of the policeman’s money as he is the one who collected most of the money.

As the players continue to collect the money, the time soon falls close to the last 30 minutes and the Hunter’s time is almost up. After the Hunters leave, the members are given bags to collect their money from the places they hid them in on the first floor, along with whatever they can find of the other members. The four are shocked as they hardly remember the places they hid their money in but nonetheless, they get going to find their money.

The members get going and collect as much as they can remember and soon, the last 30 minutes in this zone also comes to an end. After collecting the money, Dex reveals his golden card, which allows him to claim 30% of any member’s money. He chooses Dong-hyun which turns out to be the best choice as it is soon revealed that Dong-hyun has managed to bag the money envelopes.

This final golden card makes Dex the winner in this round as he gets the most money, while the members are all happy to have gotten real cash in this zone. With this, The Zone Survival Mission Season 3 comes to an end and with a promise to return, the goodbyes are said.

The Zone: Survival Mission Season 3 Episode 8 Review

Another season of The Zone Survival Mission comes to an end and once again, we are given an entertaining and satisfying end to the show. With every season, the show is definitely getting better and the updates of this season are surely worth the watch. Bringing a unique experience that teaches us something is what this show is about and that is what we got in this season as well.

Episode 8 brought a fun finale of the season and there is no doubt that the Hunters chosen for this finale were the highlight of the episode. While the members once again made sure to keep us laughing with their actions, the Hunters stood out with their unique charm and their backgrounds. The makers of this episode have really put in quite the effort and it can be seen throughout the episode.

Altogether, this was yet another memorable end to another season of The Zone Survival Mission and we are looking forward to the return of another season of the show!
