The Time Traveler’s Wife Season 2 is going to give more critical dimensions to Clare and Henry’s story. The HBO Max’s adaptation of Audrey Niffenegger of the same name has been done rather brilliantly, differing a lot from what the 2009 movie was like. The series is faithful to the book and in the first season has even included shots that will tie up Clare and Henry’s story in the upcoming seasons.
Created by Steven Moffat, the series is directed by Game of Thrones’ David Nutter and produced by Warner Bros. Television and Hartswood Films. It stars Rose Leslie and Theo James in the main role as Clare Abshire and Henry DeTamble, respectively. The other cast members include Caitlin Shorey, Everleigh McDonell, Brian Altemus, Jason David, Kate Siegel, Desmin Borges, Natasha Lopez, Michael Park, Jaime Ray Newman and Taylor Richardson amongst others
The first season ended with a rather bittersweet twist. We get to know that the older Henry has gone through vasectomy as every time Clare was getting pregnant the child was getting his abnormal gene and his wife was going through one miscarriage after the other. But, we also get to know that the older Clare desperately wants a kid and is seemingly angry at Henry.

The Time Traveler’s Wife Season 2 Predictions
Thus, when a younger Henry lands up in the future and the future Henry goes to the past on Clare and Henry’s wedding day, the older, future Clare has a chance at a child as she sows in Henry’s mind that he is different from her Henry as he hasn’t had a vasectomy yet. Does this mean Clare and Henry will have a child in the upcoming season?
Well, if there is a season two, we are going to see the younger version of Henry sleeping with the older version of Clare on one of his visits, making her pregnant. According to the book, the child is named Alba and has the same time-travelling ability as her father. The book also uses Alba as a medium for Henry to know about his death as when he travels to the future to meet his 10-year-old daughter, he gets to know that he dies at 43.
Clare and Henry’s child seemingly has more control of her abilities than her father ever did. A sequel is set to arrive that will focus on Alba’s story after Henry and Clare’s. However, there has been no update on when the book will get published yet.
Apart from Alba’s entry, we can also potentially see Henry’s death. Hints of Henry’s death have been thrown all over season one. For instance, the severed feet as well as a young Clare running to the forest while her father and brother were hunting only to find a pool of blood that soon disappears. Clare’s eternal wait for Henry and Alba’s growing up are also going to be key elements in the upcoming season.
